Everyone on staff is great - nice people to deal with. Easy to get service appointments when necessary. They continue to get more and more allocations which is indicative of their growth. Everyone was warm and friendly. They went over the details of the car. The car is beautiful and I feel very comfortable to call the dealership with any questions or concerns. Dealer was a bit slow to complete the transaction, but understandable given the sales activity in December. I spoke with the general manager and that seemed to help focus the attention of the staff. This is a hard review to make. I've had a strong relationship with this dealer and would like to have one again in the future but this service event was not good. Understand that t I've had a strong relationship with this dealer and would like to have one again in the future but this service event was not good. Understand that that relationship was with a different Service Manager, Service Advisor SA, different group of service techs. Starting with a call for an appointment. I could wait something like 2-3 weeks for an appointment with a loaner or come in 2-3 days without a loaner. I thought it would be 1-2 days service call so no problem. It wasn't, yet I was told by the SA that loaners were coming back that afternoon whenever I managed to get to speak to him. I questioned why they wouldn't give me a rental car as a loaner as many dealerships do including their BMR store right next door. I found out after all this was over that Porsche doesn't allow dealer to give anything but Porsche cars as loaners. Telling me that when I first questioned it would have ended the discussion, but it continued instead for the whole service event. After a week of borrowing my sister's car it got to the point where that wasn't always possible to do so, I got a rental for the second week. Next problem was reaching the SA. Voice mail, email, text, phone messages were all used with equal amounts of unsuccess. I asked what's the best way to reach you; text I was told. It didn't help. I would get a call back but it was usually a 1 or 2 later. I was at the dealer about 10 days into this service talking with a group of employees when Aaron SA call Skip (the Service Manager) over to the group. I Aaron told him about the parts delay in Germany which was holding up my warranty service call. The Parts Manager had already put in a ticket for these parts. Not sure what that means but it's something to do with getting the parts needed released to the dealer. Skip said he would call somebody about it. Next, I got a call saying the parts were released by Germany, should be here Monday and the job completed Tuesday or Wednesday. It finally was done and waiting to be washed. They would meet me at the rental car company with my Porsche that afternoon. That didn't happen but they did finally delivery the car to my home that evening. About a week later I got a call from Skip saying he wanted to make things better and that they fully intended to reimburse me for the rental car and would I be willing to revisit their review. This is it. I certainly hope our relationship returns to its former level as this is my 7th Porsche (there will be more) and I've been a 28-year member of PCA. I continue to be very happy with the my dealing with the Parts Manager Erica Harraman, Hans-Peter Maier Salesrep and Scott Prince General Manager. More
