I was very happy with the service I received at Irvine Subaru. They explained what was going to be performed and the cost. I was given updates on progress. When the service technician discovered that t Subaru. They explained what was going to be performed and the cost. I was given updates on progress. When the service technician discovered that the filters were dirty and needed replacement the Service representative notified me of this discovery and advised to the cost prior to proceeding. I approved this additional work. I did not receive any pressure to perform any work. The Service representative did explain work that needs to be performed and gave me a quote on this work. I explained this was not a good time for me financially and he did not give me any pressure to proceed at this time. Only one thing I did notice, it appears that the pre-set seat setting feature had been deleted. More

After the head unit for the GPS was replaced it did not work, they forgot to put in the chip!! That suggests to me the tech did not check to see if the new GPS was working. Than the Sirius XM did not work work, they forgot to put in the chip!! That suggests to me the tech did not check to see if the new GPS was working. Than the Sirius XM did not work and a tech came to the car and talked to Sirius XM person and said the signal was resent and in 15 minutes it would work and all my preset stations would return. I left the dealership since I had been there four hours. That did not work. The clock went to military time and the passenger window could not be lowered etc from the driver side button. All these problems should have been corrected on my first visit. It took three visits and phone conversations to get all these system's to work. I asked them to not wash the car and they washed the car. It should have been done on the first visit. My son and I have cars from this dealership and every time we have work done they get us confused even thought we tell the service dept. not to confuse us. I will only return to the dealership if I cannot get the work done somewhere else. Ed Borrowe, More
