I have been looking for a good used car for quite some time. I know Shan Herwig personally so I gave her information on what I was looking for and the price range I had to work with. I came very close to buying a used 2008 Dealer Certified Honda Civic which I was allowed to take home for a weekend to be sure I liked it. This began a trust relationship between me and St. Louis Honda. While talking with Shan in the show room a brand new 2010 Honda Fit caught my attention. It was a little more than I had hoped to spend but Shan and the dealer worked with me to get the price down. So here I am the owner of the first new car I have ever purchased in my life (I am 71 years old). I felt no pressure to upgrade from my orginal decision. Shan simple presented facts about bying used verses new and the information given helped me to make what I believe was a good decision. I am on a fixed income and bought the Honda Fit because it will give me good gas mileage cnd I hope many years of good transportation without costly upkeep. It is also easy for my wife and I to get in and out of. Some of my adult children have Honda's and they swear by them. I am hoping I can look back many years from now and tell others that you can't go wrong if you buy a Honda. We had never owned a Honda so had many questions about the vehicles. Shan Herwig went beyond our expectations assisting us and did it with such an outgoing personality. We had been interested in the Honda CR-V EX-L and she even followed up with us by mailing additional information we had requested. We decided to vist with her at the dealership and did purchase our Honda CR-V EX-L based on not only Honda's reviews, the dealership's reputation with competative pricing, yet largely due to Shan's intergrity and professinalism.
