Yet another amazing experience in Grimes! My wife and I purchased a 2010 Toyota Prius from Toyota of DSM back in August 2014. Great experience. I did leave a glowing review on this website at the time. Due to some unforeseen life events, we had to sell or trade-in the '10 Prius. The one place we trust and the one place that, yes busy, but always has time for you, was the one place we went to. That place being Toyota of Des Moines! We were lucky, again, that Shane Siegle was working that day. My brother-in-law, Jacob, recommended this place and Shane, the first time. We discussed our lengthy situation with Shane Siegle. To make a long story short, we ended up trading the 2010 Prius for a 2011 Prius! I cannot think of one dealership that I or my wife have been to in my area that would sit and listen to our situation. Also, go out of their way to help us! Shane is a good man! I cannot begin to thank him enough!! As mentioned in a previous review; due to him, we will NEVER go through another dealership besides Toyota of DSM in Grimes. NEVER EVER! Another person who also deserves high praise is Chad Millhollin in the finance department. We realized that he also went out of his way to help us in our situation!! We received a fairly good (unexpected) interest rate that we are very happy with and happy that we were able to be financed through a Des Moines Credit Union! Big kudos to Chad for everything you did to get us the best deal possible. You understood the situation and you performed well beyond our expectations! Ryan Parmerlee was in the Delivery department, but we did not require an overview because we were already familiar with the Prius! He was very nice and we did not feel rushed to get in our vehicle and drive away. He gave my brother-in-law some keychains (so he wouldn't feel left out..haha). We declined the photo offered; however, it's a great thing to offer people! Thank you, Ryan!! We will continue to recommend Toyota of DSM to everyone. We will continue to utilize Toyota of DSM PERIOD! Keep up the good work! To the general manager: You have a great team!! They deserve a lot of praise!! Best car buying experience! My wife and I were up visiting her brother who lives in Grimes. We were driving by the dealership on Hwy 141 and Jacob, my brother-in-law, told us he My wife and I were up visiting her brother who lives in Grimes. We were driving by the dealership on Hwy 141 and Jacob, my brother-in-law, told us he had the best experience with this dealership. We stopped to initially browse, but my wife found a vehicle that she immediately fell in love with. We test drove vehicles, but she insisted on the 2010 Toyota Prius. It's a very sharp looking vehicle and just very nice all around! Jacob said we should talk with Shane Siegle as that was his sales representative and he is wonderful. Luckily, Shane was there. He was the best to deal with. Even though he had other customers to attend to, he made time for us. We didn't feel rushed nor pressured in anyway. Glad he was working this day. Kudos to Shane!! We also have to give a shout-out to Bill Klomstad who did a fantastic job of explaining every detail of our vehicle. We did not feel he rushed us through this process and it helped so much. He explained everything very well. Kudos to Bill!! Our finance representative, Ryan McClanahan, was fantastic as well. We were very happy for what he done for us (i.e., interest rate; warranty; etc...). He really took the time to help us get the best deal for our situation. Didn't realize that a huge dealership would do as much as they did for us on the day of our purchase. We live about 90 miles south of Grimes and will use Toyota of Des Moines for all repairs and more than likely any future car purchases. We will also recommend this place to everyone! Steve Henigan took us on a test drive, answered all our questions and gave us thoughts on accessories that we were not sure of. Shane Siegel was our salesman and also helped with the extras at ordering time of our vehicle. We were impressed how well everyone worked together. At delivery time Jared Maxey was great and explained everything thoroughly about our new Highlander. He walked us through all the new technology on the Highlander. For us non techy older people he was very good at explaining it all. Nice to see all the employees as neat and well groomed as they were. Nice to see that in todays world.
