Love the new navigator. Have had 8 of them. Walked in told Andy what we wanted, no dickering, and he came back with their low number that was acceptable to us. Made the sale. Nice way to do business! Ignore customers complaints. I recently traded in a real nice 03 Corvette for what I thought was a beautiful used 2014 Corvette. I paid top dollar and even was suckered in for the additional coverage/protection packages - snake oil! The day I first saw the vehicle and loved it and made a deal, the car looked great. Granted it needed some detailing and cleaning but nothing major. The next day I returned with my trade in and they swapped out my premium wheels on the 03 vette for the original stock wheels (that I supplied) so I could take my special wheels home. The stock originals had the tire pressure sensors and valve stems attached. When they changed out the wheels they removed the sensors and valve stems from my special wheels and must have put them on the stock wheels. Where the others went nobody knows. So now I am out tire pressure sensors and valve stems for my 4 wheels meaning I must go purchase them for $300+!!! That is where things went down hill rapidly. The 2014 vette was being cleaned up and "prepped" for me. After waiting a few hours I returned from lunch to find my new car ready to go but as I looked it over there were scratches in the paint on the upper front bumper and upper front fenders (extending down to the headlight lens). These flaws jumped out at me and I could swear they were not there the day before when I signed off on the deal. I mentioned this to my sales lady and she mumbled something and said little else. When discussing this with the business manager, who was trying to sell me those extra coverage warranties and nonsense, I declined them due to the high expense and we completed the paperwork. I found it very odd that nobody wanted to discuss my concerns and all seemed to turn their backs as if they were guilty of something. Funny that they all played dumb about this dilemma. I hate to accuse anyone or point the finger at anyone in particular but there was something very fishy going on. After taking the car home, the flaws and paint damage really bothered me. I called the dealer back the next day and returned the car for that "protective treatment" on the body and interior which I was assured would clean up the defects and look good. When I discussed this with the business manager, he did mention that he had a few good guys to handle this task except for one that he seemed very negative about. The end result was not much improvement but I wanted to get out of there and took the car home again. After a few more days I noticed the dash material starting to separate and pull away from it's tucked in areas around the HUD well and the upper vent grill. The dash material was coming apart for some unknown reason. This really upset me and I called the dealer back only to be put off and promised a call back - which never happened (twice). The sales gal was of no help and acted dumb, the sales manager was too much of a xxxxx to call me back so that left me with no help and I was on my own! I should have returned the vehicle and demand a refund - maybe even get my 03 back but I feared that I was just too upset and would have created a scene and probably thrown in jail. A local GM dealership assessed the damage to the dash and quoted me $3,649.74 to repair the damaged dash areas. So that's what you get when you foolishly buy a lemon from a shady dealer that possibly purposely vandalized my car prior to me taking home. Never again! I have filed formal complaints with the FTC and Lincoln and will share this horror story with anyone who listens. This dealership is the most disappointing and disgraceful when it comes to car dealers, not to mention thieves! Thanks Plaza for the lousy experience! The only positive note here is my special thanks to the wonderful lady in the title dept. (Kim Hunter). She was most helpful and a pleasure to deal with! More
