Another no-stress car deal This was my second purchase from Peoria Subaru. I wasn't even looking to buy a car. I was only there for a service appointment. When Spencer (same rep that sold me my '17 Forester) presented me an offer for a trade-in, I was curious to see what the new '19s had to offer. We drove, we talked, we negotiated. No high-pressure. No bait-and-switch. Never once felt like I was being played or scammed. They even covered the cost of my service on my trade-in (since the work was completed before I decided to trade up). I like being able to browse the lot without having a rep on my tail going in for the hard sell. Between shop visits and sales experiences, I've never once had less than a positive experience and always feel they value my business. I'll be back. More

An Unsatisfactory Experience Our initial contact was great. We had our 2015 Forester in for service, and took a new model out for test drive with Spencer Roe. He was knowledgeable Our initial contact was great. We had our 2015 Forester in for service, and took a new model out for test drive with Spencer Roe. He was knowledgeable, personable and answered all of our questions. We were not sure about purchasing since our current vehicle was only 3 years old and only 23K miles. We made an appointment with Spencer for 9:30am 21 Dec to obtain a detailed quote and possibly negotiate a purchase. Our appointment was not met (we were told Spencer had a medical appt). NO ONE called us to reschedule or inform. An assoicate (new at the Dealership 15 Dec) did try to help us and provided a Costco Auto Program quote (initially on the wrong model). He would not give us a trade-in quote, saying he needed time to research (we did give him our numbers). But, he promised to contact us by phone or email later that day with a quote. It never happened - and we were never again contacted by Spencer or his associate. A manager (Steve Sand??) later called us - but he wanted to start the process all over with name, address, car wanted etc, etc, etc. We opted out and three hours later purchased the model we wanted from the Surprise Subaru Superstore. We left the Peoria dealership with a bad taste and feeling - Wow - this is the second time in three years we ended up buying from another dealership. (last time in 2014 at the Peoria is a story on a lack of integrity). More

Best purchase decision ever!!! I came into Peoria Subaru just to look around at the 2018 Foresters. I've read up about them online for a few months and finally decided it looked li I came into Peoria Subaru just to look around at the 2018 Foresters. I've read up about them online for a few months and finally decided it looked like the right suv for me. I called in and spoke with Chris the manager. He was friendly and helpful in regards to going over the trim options and what was available at the moment. When I arrived later that day for a test drive Chris was actually there to meet me like he said he'd be (usually not the case with my previous dealer experinces). He set me up with Spencer for the test drive. I was so amazed with the Forester. It had plenty of power and drove so smoothly. I especially like to roof rack and the Thule bars Subaru offers. (I love to go snowboarding). Anywho after the test drive we got to the dreaded part of a car deal...THE NUMBERS!!! Well to say the least...the $31,000 Forester I had picked out was out of my price range. Chris came back into the office with Spencer and suggested a lease to get to my goal payment. I was very aprehensive at first. I've heard absolute horror stories from friends and family in regards to leasing vehicles...over charged for miles, damage, etc. Chris took the time to explain and re explain how leasing with Subaru was different, and that most people actully build equity with a lease. Well he "CLOSED" me as they say. And I couldnt be happier!!! I just want to say thanks to Chris for finding a way to make my "goal" suv fit my budget and Spencer for his time and consideration with all the details. Peoria Subaru you ROCK!!!! More
