SIMPLY INCREDIBLE With only a modest budget, I never thought we would be able to purchase from Tafel Motor Company. We wanted a used Mercedes, and had looked at variou With only a modest budget, I never thought we would be able to purchase from Tafel Motor Company. We wanted a used Mercedes, and had looked at various used car lots around town. While searching on cars.com, I found a car in my price range. Low and behold, it was offered by Tafel. I sent an email inquiry through the site, and within 15 minutes, received a personal phone call. I stopped by dealership and was met by Wyndall Smith. He showed me the car and gave me a test drive. What happened next was a complete surprise. We returned to the dealership, where Wyndall showed me a complete history of the vehicle. He also reviewed the inspection report produced by the service department, line by line. While the car was not perfect (as used cars seldom are, especially in our price range) he walked me back to the service department so I could ask questions about the issues on the report. My questions were answered candidly, without any attempt to deceive, or minimize their importance. Wyndall was extremely patient, knowledgable and helpful, guiding me through the buying experience, a true professional. Even though we were buying a less expensive car, Wyndall went out of his way to ensure we could make our buying decision with confidence. I never dreamed we would be able to purchase a Mercedes from Tafel Motor Company for under $8,000. Yet, Wyndall made it happen, and made us feel like we were the most important customers on earth. The level of service he and the Tafel team provided us was simply INCREDIBLE, and frankly, enjoyable. I cannot imagine why anyone would want to buy a car anywhere else. My Experience at Tafel Motor Company My experience at Tafel Motor Dealership has always be a 5 for me the reason being is because at all times I am treated with the upmost respect by all My experience at Tafel Motor Dealership has always be a 5 for me the reason being is because at all times I am treated with the upmost respect by all staff members in the company. Kareem professionalism and constant rapport with me throughout the process of my purchase of the CLA-250 was outstanding. He's constant informing me about the status of the vehicle. He explained everything to me when I purchased my vehicles and guided me on certain items that I wanted in the vehicle. When I came to pick up my car I had an issue with USAA on my loan application; and Jeff came to the rescue and was able to get me a loan through Mercedes. Jeff did an outstanding job on explaining the loan documents as well as the warranties that I purchased for the vehicle. I also added Stacy and Paul in my review because every time I get my vehicle serviced both Stacy and Paul take great care of me and my vehicles. Overall the whole staff at Tafel Motors are friendly, always making sure customers are comfortable and professional. I enjoy my visits to Tafel. Keep up the great job!!!! More

Todd Cherry is a great salesperson who never forgets his customers and understands that no pressure is needed to sell his cars. Service Advisor Stacey Parks is warm and informative about the state and condition of your car. The problem comes when you get down to the nitty-gritty of the warranty services and the service department manager, Doug Shipp. Prior to buying a used car from a different dealer I brought it by their service department to inquire about the warranty coverage for some items that needed repair. I was told by a service department employee that the items would be covered because it was a bumper to bumper warranty still in effect. After I purchased the car and took it in for the warranty service I was told that over $1,000 of repairs were not covered! Later on a bought a certified used car from Tafel. Since then I have learned that the seat repair warranty (an add-on) doesn't give you back a new looking seat. It's an obvious patch that is prone to re-tearing. The warranty doesn't cover "trim" pieces. I now have an air vent that has a wad of paper keeping it from cooling the ceiling, an ash tray (coin compartment) sliding door that doesn't stay open anymore, and an expensive iPod integration unit that locks up my iPod (an iPod that NEVER locks up in their service loaner cars) but Tafel refuses to replace because they say it's possible my added sub-woofer is interfering with it (Roberts Stereo says this is not a possible interaction, the problem is in the fiber optic cable or the way they have it grounded). My car wasn't running the way I was use to so I brought it in for a diagnostic and wound-up getting a tune-up only to get a car back that ran with no evidence of improvement. With the warranty running out I took it in again to try and get the car back to where it should be. They finally found the problem: my transmission is bad and is getting completely replaced! This is good news but didn't make-up for the unnecessary tune-up. Also, They lost my car once when I had it in for service! I went to pick it up and they couldnt locate it. I had to come back a few hours later! These experiences have guaranteed that my next car will not be a Mercedes Benz. More
