My worst customer service experience ever!!!!!! I was emailed a coupon for a free oil change, so I brought my Honda Accord in for an appointment on Saturday (3/23) While waiting for my car to be pu I was emailed a coupon for a free oil change, so I brought my Honda Accord in for an appointment on Saturday (3/23) While waiting for my car to be pulled into the garage, I a saw a person who seemed to be in charge of the mechanics looking at the coupon that I gave to the person behind the counter. I thought nothing of it, until shortly after my car was up on the lift, he called me into the garage and said he would not complete the oil change because the screw or plug on the oil pan was not the original and he didn't know if he could remove it without striping it. I told him that the original screw was replaced recently because it was leaking. I also told him that my regular mechanic has changed my oil several times with the existing screw and he never seemed to have a problem, nor have I experienced a leak since the original leak was fixed with the current screw. I can not believe that they mechanics could not perform this work - a simple oil change; really?!? He obviously saw my coupon and didn't want to complete the job at no charge. That's fine - then just say so. Don't give me a lame excuse an insult my intelligence!! In addition, this person did not apologize for wasting my time, and spoke to me in a rude and condescending tone - right from the start While in the waiting room, I told this gentleman that I was going to provide an review of my experience and he responded loudly in front of everyone around (employees and other customers that he was going to tell everyone about his experience with me. Unbelievable!! This was embarrassing and a complete waste of my time. Ironically, the coupon I received was offered as an attempt to regain my business for service, which I might have considered if the experience was favorable. Just so you are aware, my wife and I have been repeat customers at your Honda dealership, purchasing 4 of our last 5 vehicles at your facility - going back to when you were located on Township Line. I will actually be in the market to replace my current Honda Accord in about a year and I will never return again to give you my business. Instead, I will be going to Main Line Honda. Although this is further drive for me, I would rather give them my business in the future. In addition, I have other friends that have purchased at your dealership and I am discouraging them from ever going back for sales or service. Trust me, I am committed to getting the word out as much as I can about how horrible your establishment treats their customers and I am certain I will dissuade others from doing business with you in the future. More
