I was born and raised in Eastern Iowa on the Mississippi in Clinton. I made a decision in 2002 to move to Des Moines where I started working at Charles Gabus Ford. I've been in the car business for over 2 decades now after managing restaurants for 5 years. My wife and I have been enjoying traveling for many years and finally decided to start our family. My son Tyler was born on March 19th 2017. Other than getting married and moving to Des Moines, he is the best decision I've made in my lifetime. I really liked the customer service at Charles Gabus. Unfortunately, I was not able to buy the car yet because I needed a cosigner. Initially, we only stopped in to look at trucks and the sales prices caught our eye. We then tried to find a sales person (something that never seems to be a problem when you are just looking) we couldn't sales prices caught our eye. We then tried to find a sales person (something that never seems to be a problem when you are just looking) we couldn't get one to help us. We actually walked right through a group of 5-6 of them and they didn't even look at us. Finally we went inside, and Steve came up and asked if we'd been helped by anyone. Steve was a great help and we ended up buying a new truck that day. More
