Dear Adrienne, I apologize for your experience with your vehicle and our dealership. I know your salesperson, Ann DeMayo, has reached out to you about your experience. I've involved Judy Burr, general manager, as well. We don't use CarFax. We use AutoCheck. Our salespeople can pull an AutoCheck report in seconds. Chrysler makes CarFax reports available for certified preowned vehicles and unfortunately only managers have access. Since your review we've trained salespeople on where to find these reports to make it much easier. I'm sorry it took your experience to address this. I can't explain the items that did not have check marks on the 125-point inspection. It was relayed to me that a new inspection was conducted on your vehicle prior to delivery. I would be happy to have or service manager contact you to answer any questions. On some vehicles, we stipulate that customers finance the vehicle purchase with us. We offer competitive rates through our banks and in a lot of cases, we can match or beat other banks and credit unions. Vehicle detailing could occur much sooner. We have limited vehicle storage space. We are unable to store cars indoors. Due to the potential of vehicles getting dusty prior to delivery, we wash them prior to delivery. Vehicle alarms installed by the vehicle manufacturer are usually passive alarms. That is, they work when people get inside a vehicle. Few have proximity sensors that warn you to stay away from vehicles. Aftermarket alarms usually come with proximity sensors. I will speak to our business managers to be more specific going forward. Chrysler's Certified Pre-owned vehicle program requires only one key be provided at time of sale. If the original owner provides both keys, you get both. The aggressive nature of vehicle pricing precludes us from providing a second key. We have begun internal discussions to secure second keys when needed with the cost added to the vehicle price. I'm sorry the computer had to be replaced. Chrysler's certification checklist only states to check the "Sound and/or entertainment system". There is nothing on this checklist to test the clock, navigation or phone service. I have communicated your comments to our service manager to strengthen our delivery procedures. My service team and pre-owned vehicle sales manager indicated the chip in your windshield would be filled in. When this is done, you will still see the chip mark. This chip was repaired during your service visit. Loaner vehicles are part of our customer rewards program. Customers don't pay anything at all for this program. We bear all costs of this program, including our fleet of loaner vehicles. We realize at times that securing a loaner vehicle is challenging. We will continue to grow our loaner fleet. I remain very interested in resolving on-going issues -- when I'm made aware of them. I never received any email communication from you. My name is Wolhar, not Wolmar. Phil, Although I misspelled your last name in my initial review, an email WAS sent to Phil WOLHAR at pwolhar@easthillsjeep.com on 8/30/15. I've re-sent it this evening for your reference. That email also contains attachments of the original, incomplete 125-point inspection checklist. I also called and left a message on your voice mail the next day that was not returned. While your response is appreciated, it's apparent you're not completely up to date on the status of my experience. The computer actually had to be REPLACED AGAIN (2 times), as the computer that was installed the last time shorted frequently, and still had issues with the phone and clock as previously stated. I also specifically asked the service department to make sure the default location was set to NY, as when I picked it up the last time, it was oriented in Texas. When I picked up the car, sure enough, it was still set to Texas and I tried to figure it out myself with the technician on site who was unable to. After 15 minutes of frustration, I finally left the vehicle for someone else on your team to figure out how to re-set it and returned later to retrieve it. The windshield was NOT FIXED when I was told it was by your service team after a two week wait. When a technician from your glass vendor came to my home to fix it 2 weeks later (after my appointment was moved twice), he actually said 1) the glass had clearly not been fixed, 2) the vehicle should not have been sold with the glass in condition it was in (multiple chips all over the windshield that would lead to larger cracks), and 3) it actually looked like it had been replaced (not noted on AutoReport) because the inspection sticker looked like it had been removed from another vehicle and placed on the one I purchased sloppily. I relayed what was shared with me from the glass technician to Emile on your team, and after speaking with the vendor, the windshield was replaced later that week. IN ADDITION, I discovered lien information I provided at the time of sale was never relayed to your finance team, resulting in a misprint on the title, listing me as the owner and omitting the bank I financed the vehicle from as the lien holder. Once I connected with Ann about this, she found that your finance team made a mistake and did not submit the information to the DMV as it was to be processed. The title was recently sent it to Ann, as she promised to resolve this. I'm hoping this, unlike previous issues, will be rectified in a timely manner. I did meet with Judy when I had to return to the dealership yet again to have the computer replaced for the second time. She apologized for the multiple mistakes and offered possible compensation for a few months of Sirius service. After the countless hours spent resolving the issues, multiple trips to the dealership to resolve and re-resolve issues and continual mistakes, I'm surprised that for a dealership that boasts 300+ sales a month, that was the best that could be done to make up for an extremely substandard experience and months of frustration.
