Mike was able to get me at the payment I wanted to pay as well as made delivery very simple. I was also assisted by Steve Desetto who was a great help as well. I would recommend this dealership over any others in the area. More

Walked out of jeep in Wantagh. What a clown act they have over there. Very rude, unknowledgable, nastiest people I've ever met!! Called Steve, within seconds had the EXACT car I wanted. I drove from have over there. Very rude, unknowledgable, nastiest people I've ever met!! Called Steve, within seconds had the EXACT car I wanted. I drove from Massapequa all the way to East Hills. Promptly greeted by the girl in front. Steve came over helped us out, Mike Galante showed us the car, wrote up the order, answered all our questions. It is a rare thing to find such great people working in the sales dept. After Wantagh, I swore against jeep forever going on forums saying how nasty Wantagh jeep was. I walked out of East Hills with my renewed faith in jeep. Not only did we buy, we have already given their names to 3 people from a local moms group of 4500 moms who heard my horror story at Wantagh. Had it not been for the 2 of the, I WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT A JEEP AGAIN!! A class act here from start to finish and now I will be back in a month to buy another truck from them as well!! Well done!! This is a car dealership that should be avoided at all costs! The sales staff lured me with a low cost option and the promise of a firm delivery date, which was enough to earn my business. Unfortunately costs! The sales staff lured me with a low cost option and the promise of a firm delivery date, which was enough to earn my business. Unfortunately, things just headed south from there. My initial contact was with Gary C., a member of the sales staff. Gary was friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the Jeep Grand Cherokee I was looking to lease. The particular model and color scheme I desired was not at the dealership. However, Gary assured me “the car could be procured within two days, as it was at another local dealership, and East Hills Jeep has a dedicated specialist whose only role is to inspect and pick up cars at other dealerships.” This spiel was followed up by Gary providing me my car’s sticker sheet after I asked to see it to ensure the vehicle had all the options I was interested in. Given that things seemed to be going reasonably well up to this point, I proceeded to leave a $500 “refundable” deposit. After three days went by, I called Gary to inquire about the expected pick-up date of my new Grand Cherokee, and with an unwelcoming tone, I was told, “When the car comes in, we’ll call you.” That change in tone and response did not sit well with me, so I followed up that call with a call to the dealership’s manager of new sales, Steve. When I told Steve of my discontent with Gary’s response and asked him to look into the situation for me, much to my surprise, Steve told me that the car Gary indicated was at another dealership was nowhere to be found in his system, he has no idea what sticker was given to me, and the so-called specialist who goes from dealership to dealership to procure cars does not exist. Angered, I was ready to walk away from the deal. However, Steve assured me this type of service was a blip for this dealership, but the only option at this point was to order a new car from the manufacturer, which would take up to six weeks to deliver. However, Steve assured me that this ordering experience would be fun as it would be highlighted with weekly updates from the manufacturer as to the production status of my car. I reluctantly agreed under the condition that I was returned $250 of my initial $500 deposit and the dealership pays for half of my license plate transfer fees, which was agree to by Steve. Well, roll forward four weeks. Not only did I not receive the weekly production status updates, but my $250 was not refunded to my credit card. Feeling angered and frustrated, I decided to take this to the next level and spoke with Judy, the dealership’s general manager. After surmising my experience with the dealership and demanding the immediate refund of the $250 promised to me, she nonchalantly said, “I’ll look into this and get back to you.” In disbelief of Judy’s lack of compassion, empathy, etc., within ten minutes of hanging up the phone, I called Judy back with my credit card company representative in tow and demand a full refund of my $500 deposit, which I have yet to receive and in the eyes of the dealership, negates my new car lease. Unfortunately, I am back to square one in my leasing of a new car, but at least I know I will never have to deal with this dealership and that staff again. More

I was contacted by Jeep about a trade in of my 2010 Wrangler. When I met with Rich he was extremely helpful and proceeded to have my trade in valued. Steve DeSetto then gave me a very fair offer on my Wrangler. When I met with Rich he was extremely helpful and proceeded to have my trade in valued. Steve DeSetto then gave me a very fair offer on my car. Rich and Steve worked with me on a new car. After several discussions we were able to come to an amicable price. My car was ordered from the factory. While I was waiting for the car Rich continually provided me with updates on a delivery date. At delivery Rich efficiently executed the paper work, delivered a clean car and went through the car in detail. During 2013/2014 I bought three new cars so I have a very recent base of experience to rate this dealer. The experience with this dealership was excellent. More

I received a letter from East Hills asking that I come in to trade my 2011 Jeep for a 2014 Jeep. I called the dealership and spoke with Gary who advised they were interested in swapping out my lease. East to trade my 2011 Jeep for a 2014 Jeep. I called the dealership and spoke with Gary who advised they were interested in swapping out my lease. East Hills had my 2011 Jeep lease, so he said it would be an easy transition and asked me to come in to work the numbers. I took a day off of work, and went in to discuss the lease terms. Gary had my 2011 Jeep inspected and they contacted the lien holder for dealer buyout information. After working the numbers, the sales team advised that I could get into the new Jeep for nothing down and increased my monthly payment by $10. Everything was set and I was scheduled to pick up the new Jeep the following day. Another day off of work, I called Gary in the morning and he said that 'they couldn't find the car' and asked me to give them a few hours. I called back a few hours later and he said to come by and start signing the docs. When I showed up, the new Jeep was pulled up outside. Gary brought me over to it, replaced the insurance and registration and paired my Iphone to the new Jeep. Gary went inside the dealership to get the paper work together while I stayed in the Jeep testing out the new bells and whistles. While I was in the Jeep, the detail guy came over and told me that the Jeep had been on the lot the whole day but they kept going back and forth about whether or not it should be 'prepped.' So, I went back into the dealership only to be told by the sales manager, Steve, that they made a mistake when working the numbers and would need an additional $2000 down and increase my monthly payment by $40!!?!? As a returning customer and having been invited by the dealership into this new 'deal' and after everything I went through--transferring insurance and registration, etc., for them to change the deal at the last possible second is nothing short of disgusting and is the exact reason dealerships get a bad rap! Amazingly, when I contacted Atlantic Jeep in West Islip and told them about what happened, they were able to get me into the 2014 Jeep without needing any extra money or increasing my monthly payments!!!!! East Hills Jeep is a rip off and has shady business practices. DO NOT USE EAST HILLS JEEP!!!!! More
