I’ve lived most of my life in Iowa City where I managed a family business until 1997. I then started selling cars in Cedar Rapids. I have been a CR Toyota since August of 2012. I have a large following of happy customers with whom I stay in touch with a mailing of my “ Recipe Of The Month”. I have been happily married for 51 years, yes to the same woman, Susan. We have two children and five grandchildren who, unfortunately, live quite a distance from Iowa City. I enjoy playing golf, following the Hawkeyes, and, on occasion, making barbeque, especially ribs. Working with customers, finding them the perfect vehicle and making them the perfect deal is what I really enjoy about the car business.

He was courteous and followed up with a letter after I visited the first time. The 2nd time he was very helpful with the transfer and the selling of the 2015 Corolla. He also sent me another letter as a followup which was entirely unexpected. The financial service was excellent-Wendy was excellent and although she was busy with someone else, she took the time to help me with the extended coverage/the gentleman that helped me was also excellent. Wonderful dealership all around We have been using this dealership for the past seven years. Just bought a new 2014 Toyota Avalon Hybrid and the experience was great. Their Service Department is also very easy to work with. Curt Wiedemeier is exceptional as a closing agent. He knows his paperwork and we have closed three cars with him in the past. Steve, Tim, and Bill were very helpful with their knowledge of the product, and their patience in answering my questions. Plus, Steve was very helpful in my decision to purchase a new Toyota Camry r knowledge of the product, and their patience in answering my questions. Plus, Steve was very helpful in my decision to purchase a new Toyota Camry rather than a used one. He didn't push one direction over the other, but patiently answered my questions. The incentives were key to my purchase, so I would recommend asking about these early in the buying process. More
