Hello Sara, I apologize for how this interaction took place. As you said, you’ve been servicing with us for the past 16 years and unfortunately, this visit was out of the ordinary. As most Hyundai dealers are in the same position with their workload and schedule, it definitely takes longer to get vehicles into the shop. We are working on addressing that. Scott, I’m sorry your experience did not meet your expectations on your first service visit with our store. We do our best to accommodate emergency situations, but with our service dept. booked out as many as 5-6 weeks, it does take time to work in emergencies that were not planned. Since this was an emergency / unscheduled visit, we were unable to accommodate your loaner car request. We have plenty of cars but when you requested a loaner they were currently being used and/or reserved for other customers that scheduled in advance. The repair we performed included replacing parts of the exhaust. The exhaust comes with a protective coating on it while it is shipped and waiting for installation. This coating burns off when it starts to get hot and usually goes away after the first couple of trips. During this visit we recommended the 60,000 mile maintenance service as outlined in your owner’s manual from Hyundai. Based on the miles currently on your car, it could be performed this visit or next. It was only a recommendation. Also, we had no mention or recommendations of tire replacement on your vehicle. The tires were measured and are almost new and are in perfectly good shape. We strive to provide you with a safe and reliable vehicle; therefore, we keep all of our customers well informed on the vehicle service needs. Our job is to advise you of the needed repairs and recommended maintenance items on your vehicle when we perform our vehicle inspection, then it’s up to you to decide if you would like to move forward with the recommendations. Based on the comments in your review, it sounds like your issue is with a different dealership. In the future, please do not take your frustrations with the other dealer that you normally service with out on us.

Defensive, much?????? Like I said, this service was "ok, not great." I am frustrated with the Zimbrick family of dealerships, and this experience has been just another in a long line of them. I think I made that pretty clear, but will re-word my original post if it makes you happy. My experience with your service center has been "meh." I understand that it was an emergency repair. Totally get it. Went out of my way to ask for a loaner car on day one. Was told you don't have any. Got it. Your rep told me to contact Hyundai Cares, which I did. Got it. Hyundai Cares called me and told me that they "would" cover a rental car, because you told me that you had no loaners. But then Hyundai Cares calls your dealership, and the rep told her that he "didn't remember" me asking for a loaner, and told her that you DID have loaner cars available. So now, I've got Hyundai Cares all up in my business telling me that I should have gotten the loaner from you when I had the chance. FFS, I tried to!! I practically begged you for a loaner when you told me you'd have mine for "a couple of weeks." Next time, I will pre-plan my emergency repairs in advance, to take advantage of your loaner cars, I guess? I'll try to plan the overheating when it fits into your schedule.
