I had never shopped at a dealership prior to my experience at Elmhurst Toyota. Within moments of entering the showroom my wife and I were greeted and helped. I never got an uncomfortable feeling experience at Elmhurst Toyota. Within moments of entering the showroom my wife and I were greeted and helped. I never got an uncomfortable feeling of pressure and most importantly we were listened to and not pushed in any direction other than our own. We had initially looked at their website in search of a used vehicle which led us to their lot. Even though it was a Honda, Steve respected our research and desire for that particular vehicle. We decided to look at another dealership (same model) that same day and make our decision the following day. The next day I received two calls from the second dealer, both appealed to us to make an urgent decision and to come back in that day. Steve made a casual call to ask us where we were in our decision making after seeing the other vehicle. Our final decision was primarily based on how we were treated and who "earned" our business. Elmhurst Toyota offered the most when it came to the overall experience. At Elmhurst Toyota, I was greeted as I came in the door and was introduced to Steven Salidas. Steven answered all of my questions and helped me out tremendously. We were able to discuss pricing and options on one evening, but I was unable to stay that night to complete the deal. Steven did not try to pressure me by saying that the pricing discussed would be good for only one night. When I returned two days later the pricing discussed was still valid. This was a better than expected experience for purchasing a car. I would definitely recommend Steven for purchasing a new car. More
