I bought a $160,000 vehicle and paid $4,000 for Paint protection film to be installed on the front half of the car. The car is delivered to me covered in salt which is understandable with the weather, but it made it impossible to see that the film job was horrible until it could be cleaned up. I took it to a local reputable shop who showed me over 40 instances of imperfections, it lifting in areas, and basically was told it needs to be removed and redone correctly, the dealership unfortunately offered some of my money back from the original job, but I’m expected to pay for a large portion of the reinstall to make it right. Unfortunate incident but not handled the best, just a bad feeling when the vehicle you traded in that they have listed for $16,000 more than they gave on it is in better shape then the new vehicle purchased. More
