Used Car Buyer Beware! We recently bought a 2018 Infiniti QX60 at Land Rover Hinsdale. The car drove great during a couple of test drives. We were told that the car wa We recently bought a 2018 Infiniti QX60 at Land Rover Hinsdale. The car drove great during a couple of test drives. We were told that the car was fully inspected, they performed an oil change and fixed/updated a couple other minor things. The price was fair and the sales process was smooth and painless. The sales and finance departments were a breeze to deal with. A couple days after buying the car, we experienced intermittent hard starts. Starting would start rough and take some time to actually start. Since we had a short, limited warranty since it is a used car, we brought the car back to Land Rover THREE times and each time they told us they couldn't find anything wrong. We understand that intermittent problems are difficult to diagnose so we sent them a video where you can hear how hard the car was starting in hopes that they would look further into the issue. They still said they can't find anything wrong. They suggested that if we experience further issues to take it to an Infiniti dealership as it may be an issue with Infiniti cars that the Land Rover service department can't diagnose. After the warranty expired, we did some research on the issue. The first thing my husband did when he opened the hood is check the air filter. IT WAS ENTIRELY BLACK. How in the world was this missed during the car's initial inspection and all the times we took it back in to see what was wrong?! All those trips back to Land Rover were a complete waste of time. My husband changed the filter and we haven't had a problem since. He also changed the cabin air filter which was DISGUSTING. I wouldn't trust that the used cars at Land Rover Hinsdale have been "fully inspected". If they missed something as simple as an air filter, what else did they miss? If you buy a used car here, I would strongly recommend taking it to your own mechanic for an inspection, if allowed. If not allowed, I would look elsewhere for a used car. More

We had Tawny for our salesperson, and Dora for our financials in Hinsdale help us and they were both above and beyond great to deal with. We started looking for cars and stopped at several luxury car financials in Hinsdale help us and they were both above and beyond great to deal with. We started looking for cars and stopped at several luxury car dealers, actually talked with some and tried to work with a few, but none were as good some never even followed up. Love our new Range Rover sport, but honestly, it was the customer service that I’ll just make our decision to buy there. More

I am extremely disappointed in the management at Land Rover Hinsdale. I purchased a 2025 Range Rover Sport V8 with only 170 miles—essentially a brand-new vehicle. A major part of the agreement and the ad Rover Hinsdale. I purchased a 2025 Range Rover Sport V8 with only 170 miles—essentially a brand-new vehicle. A major part of the agreement and the advertised incentive was a 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty included at no extra cost. After the sale, the General Manager refused to honor this agreement. Instead of providing the promised coverage, he attempted to charge me "dealer cost" for the warranty that was supposed to be included with the purchase. Despite bringing this to his attention and pointing out that the car was advertised with this backing, he refused to fix the situation. It is unacceptable for a premium dealership to lure customers in with high-value warranty promises and then attempt to upsell them on those same items after the fact. If you are looking for transparency and a dealership that honors its word, I suggest looking elsewhere. This is not the level of integrity I expected from Land Rover. More
