We had been to several dealers (both Subaru and other manufacturers), and summarily ruled out other vehicles because we didn't feel as comfortable as we did with Thomas Darby. We were a wishy-washy about our time-frame, and unlike other dealers we didn't feel overly pressured to commit immediately. Thomas seemed to understand where we were coming from on a host of issues, whereas other dealers tended to push us towards the cars they wanted to sell rather than what we wanted. We're certainly people that are averse to high-pressure sales or sales people coming off like a stereotype of a 'used car saleman' and this certainly wasn't the case with Thomas. More

I called him to get some pricing and talk about some details. Darby was able to get the car I wanted and beat my primary banks financing. Before the deal was completely done, I mentioned getting a new car for my wife in the near future. He ran some numbers on the vehicle she was looking for, and the next day we bought a 2019 STI and a 2020 WRX. The honesty and open communication (aside from the great deals) is what ultimately led us to the purchases.
