I would go out of my way to go to Southern 441 Toyota because of my poor experience at the Toyota near the airport… however, my last visit has changed everything and may as well be my last visit to South because of my poor experience at the Toyota near the airport… however, my last visit has changed everything and may as well be my last visit to Southern 441 Toyota. They advertise a lube oil filter coupon special on their website. I called to schedule my appointment & mentioned the special. I was told that that coupon would be noted in my account. I showed up for my scheduled appointment. The lube oil and filter took 3 HOURS. My car sat on a hoist for 3 hours. For an OIL CHANGE. I also was solicited by a third-party vendor to try to sell me glass for “free” by taking advantage of my insurance policy… mind you there are no cracks in my glass, nor did I ask for a glass person vendor, who is not a part of Toyota, to solicit business to me while I’m in an established business for a scheduled service appointment specifically for lube oil and filter. I feel that they are allowing third-party vendors to take advantage of their customers while at their established business, which is very unethical to also take advantage of insurance policies. THIS IS A HUGE REASON WHY FLORIDIANS HAVE THE MOST EXPENSIVE INSURANCE PREMIUMS… I work in the industry. I would rather have my glass repaired when there’s actually crack in my windshield on top of waiting three hours the service advisor. Speaking of Service Advisor…. Thomas was extremely rude because: 1. he forgot to apply the coupon that I was told was being applied to my pre-rescheduled appointment via phone, and the coupon is also publicly on their website under service specials ** Thomas forgot to include the coupon, and then Thomas got upset with his customer because he had to rewrite his service repair order. I learned Customer Etiquette while working in service at Honda, Mercedes, and Buick service…he could’ve just re-wrote the service order instead of making a big deal to the customer… and talking about having to go get his manager for a public coupon that was mentioned prior to even scheduling the appointment. Thomas was also rude because there were other maintenances due, but since I didn’t want the maintenance done same day he was rude about it. Thomas was also rude about getting change for a cash payment. Sure it’s 2026, but this is not a cash free environment so therefore it shouldn’t be a big deal to Huff and puff to get a four dollars in change for the oil change that was paid for by cash. It’s not my fault they don’t manage their own cash drawer like I did 20 yrs ago. I am so disappointed with this visit, my experience the way that I was treated as a customer… clearly they don’t need me as a customer because they had so many people there that my car was sitting on a hoist for 3 hours. I didn’t realize the expense that came along with saving a few bucks. I don’t see myself returning, especially considering I drove out of my way to come to this specific dealership from prior positive experiences. Delray Toyota is quite a drive but when I lived in Boca, I had nothing but positive experiences there. Ughhhhh. More

I would like to recognize the outstanding service I received at Southern Toyota, location 44Q. My service advisor, Thomas, was professional, courteous, and understood the importance of getting my vehic received at Southern Toyota, location 44Q. My service advisor, Thomas, was professional, courteous, and understood the importance of getting my vehicle repaired as quickly as possible. He made sure I was well taken care of, kept me informed throughout the process, and clearly explained the repairs that needed to be done. His excellent customer service made the experience much easier, and I truly appreciate his dedication. However, I am very disappointed with the department responsible for issuing the loaner vehicle. My car is covered under warranty, and I heard Thomas explain that I should not have been charged for the loaner. Despite this, my credit card was charged. When I contacted that department, they did not seem to understand the situation and simply told me to wait until Monday to have the matter addressed. I am still waiting to hear about my refund. While Thomas provided exceptional service, the handling of the loaner car charge has left me frustrated. I hope this issue is resolved promptly and that improvements are made to prevent other customers from experiencing the same problem More
