I ended up purchasing a different Toyota with no pressure from sales. Previously, I obtained pricing for other Tacoma's so I had an idea of what a good price would be. Berlin City's price was better! I was ready to trade in my 2001 Nissan Altima and was looking specifically for a used Acura RL. A 2005 Acura RL with 100,000 miles caught my eye. All the info I needed on the car was available from their web site including numerous pictures and a complete free carfax report. I visited Berlin City on a Saturday afternnon to take a look at the car. When I arrived I met with Tim Brown and we looked over the car, but he informed me the car was having a bit of trouble and could not be test driven, but he would get back to me on Mondasy morning when their service dept had a chance to check on the problem (which turned out to be a bad sensor). So, I went back on Monday test drove the car and asked, because of the problem that was seen on Saturday, if I could take the car to my mechanic to have it checked out. This was no problem, as a matter of fact I took it home overnight because of the distance to my mechanic. My mechanic only found one thing wrong; the rear brakes, which according to him would not pass inspection in New Hampshire. I informed Berlin City and they said that although the brakes would pass a Maine inspection they would replace the brakes. The negotiation on price went very quickly as I got what I thought was a fair deal almost at once. More

This was my first new car buying experience and I was not looking forward to the price negotiating process. I went into the dealership with my family on a Saturday evening. I ended up working with Tim and i' looking forward to the price negotiating process. I went into the dealership with my family on a Saturday evening. I ended up working with Tim and i'm glad I did. Tim was extremely easy to work with and even though they didn't have the exact car I was looking for we were able to test drive a similar one. When we got down to talking price Tim was great. He was able to get me into the car I wanted for the price I was looking to pay. Whenever friends of mine are looking to buy a car I always recommend going to Berlin City and talking to Tim. More
