He quickly checked and confirmed what was and was not available so I could be confident in making the trip to the dealership. When I arrived, my options were out front for me to view and he gave me the time alone to explore the vehicles without feeling the pressure to buy. He was also there to answer questions about variances in trim and options. Once I picked out and purchased my car, he walked me through the setup from the Lexus app to downloading the radio stations to be able to select by genre. Our car wasn't at the South Bay location and we were sad to go home without it, but Tim delivered it personally that night and very patient friendly. Tim was pretty good. Polite in the beginning. Both new cars I selected initially had a couple scratches. I pointed this out and explained that I wasn't going to purchase two brand new cars with surface sc cars I selected initially had a couple scratches. I pointed this out and explained that I wasn't going to purchase two brand new cars with surface scratches on them. He told me "I've seen worse" and seemed a bit frustrated with my concerns. He did bring out the guy in charge of the detail area who did say he could get the scratches out before taking delivery. I hadn't signed paperwork yet, so just had to trust that'd be the case. To prevent potentially further irritating Tim, I said ok. It worked out in the end. Near the end, Tim started to cuss a bit. Not sure if it was because of how I was dressed or how I looked but, was a bit unprofessional. Maybe he got a little too comfortable? Overall, he was ok and got what I needed done in terms of a deal. As for the dealership itself, it was clean and pretty painless. The only thing that bothered me when taking delivery of two new cars I just purchased, was stickers and plastic throughout the entire car still needed removal. The rear trunk mat, cargo net etc. I installed myself. I've purchased many Lexus's and have never had to do any of that. Overall, it was an ok experience. More
