On 6/30/23 I went to Diamond Chevy to purchase a 2018 Chevy Volt listed online for $15,987. Upon getting there it was brought to my attention the actual price of the vehicle was $5299 higher due to deale Chevy Volt listed online for $15,987. Upon getting there it was brought to my attention the actual price of the vehicle was $5299 higher due to dealer add ins. After working with T (salesman name redacted because this isn’t his fault) we were able to work a deal in which they reduced the dealer add ons (which everyone knows is just an attempt to charge more money for things no one needs and things that are with half of what they charge) On Friday night they offered me a deal that was lower than acceptable to me. On Saturday 7/1/23 I was invited back to the dealership after T explained to me they wanted to make a deal. They upped their offer a very small amount, and this still was not acceptable to me and I worked with the desk manager. We could not come to an agreement. The finally on Sunday 7/2/23 I messaged T saying my family wanted to accept the deal, and he told me to come in and send my license and insurance. Then he sent me a finance application. After I provided him with all of my information he proceeds to text me that the deal is off. They no longer wish to proceed with the deal. And that his used car manager Munir Younis decided in 12 hours that the deal no longer meets his needs even after his salesperson has agreed to it. So I want all customers the see this review to know that this dealership over charges for accessories that aren’t needed. Their online advertised prices are fake because they are simply designed to get you in the door when they then show you all of the dealer added accessories that allow them in to make an absurd amount of money over what they cost. Then once a deal is made they will pull out no matter what’s agreed to if they don’t get the exact deal they want. Please avoid this dealership at all costs! They don’t value your time nor to the honor deals that they structure themselves! More
