We were referred to Star by a friend who had recently purchased a Sierra Denali for their business. I was put in contact with our salesman Derrick Baker and made arrangements to come up and take a look at the 2016 Sierra Denali Duallys in March. My husband fell in love as soon as he got behind the wheel (being a longtime "Ford guy" this is impressive and I wasn't sure he could be "converted"). We purchased the truck that day, and I've been bugging Derrick ever since. LOL His patience, professionalism, and knowledge will definitely bring us back to purchase another vehicle in the near future. More recently, we experienced an issue with the truck-the "Check Engine" light was on. We took it in for service at a dealership closer to our home for a recall and to diagnose the issue. We were told that it needed a NOX sensor. The service department at the dealership the vehicle was at had some difficulty acquiring the part and we were unable to drive the truck until the part was replaced. I couldn't get an ETA on the arrival of the part so I contacted Derrick to see if he could help out in any way-at this point we were aggravated with having the truck as a "lawn ornament" indefinitely. He put me into contact with his Service Manager Todd, as well as his GM Keith Muir. In a matter of 24 hours of requesting assistance from them-I had an arrival date of THE NEXT DAY for the part. Their time and help is greatly appreciated, had I not reached out we probably would still NOT have the part. Thank you all for everything! We'll see you soon! Ken and Melissa F.
