Unknown to Tom, I was handling the funeral arrangements for my father that day and had to close his apartment, accounts and arrange the memorial service. However, as most expectations surrounding car buying are shaped by connotations of murky salesmenship, Tom's sales tactic cuts through perceived shroud, and most assuredly counted towards my decision to purchase from Cityside.
