We had a great experience buying our car at Beechmont Subaru. Everyone that we interacted with from sales to service to finance demonstrated a relaxed authenticity. The staff at Beechmont Subaru consistently demonstrated a quiet confidence in their product, and that gives the consumer reason to feel good about their purchase. Excellent service experience The most remarkable aspect of my service experience was that it was seamless. Every detail of the visit structured for efficiency and for my comfort. The most remarkable aspect of my service experience was that it was seamless. Every detail of the visit structured for efficiency and for my comfort. I felt confident that the actual service was going to be done right. The service advisor, Jeff Washburn, was friendly and was quick with the paperwork. The wait was short. I had indicated that there was some tire noise and that was diagnosed as a non-warranty issue. I accepted that, but Jeff made some phone calls to Subaru and connected me with the appropriate folks there. This extra effort on his part will result in great savings on new tires. At the conclusion of the visit, I happily climbed into my washed and serviced Outback. I am a very content Beechmont Subaru customer. More

Unbelievably DISHONEST & Terrible Customer Service! I had been working with Tom Friesen to purchase a certified pre-owned 2017 Subaru Forrester that was on the lot. Immediately I noticed that the air co I had been working with Tom Friesen to purchase a certified pre-owned 2017 Subaru Forrester that was on the lot. Immediately I noticed that the air conditioner was not working, even though it has supposedly gone through a 100+ point inspection. Tom said he'd pull it off the lot right away, not let anyone else test drive or look at it, and have the air conditioner fixed in a few days and then we could purchase the car if we so chose. While the car was being fixed, I had a conversation with Tom on the phone about the price. We had not yet agreed on price, he had only told me what the purchase price was. I shared with Tom the research I had done on KBB and Autotrader. He immediately became angry and argumentative and acted like I was crazy for even suggesting we discuss price. I tried to hear his arguments because he did have some good points, but it was difficult because he was so rude in his delivery. Why a used car salesman would be frustrated or offended when a customer wants to discuss price is beyond me. Seems like a normal part of the job. The conversation ended with him telling me the dealership might come down a few hundred dollars, that'd he'd speak with the store manager and then call me back. I received a text message not much later saying he was leaving for the day and would be back in the morning. The next morning, instead of following up with me on the price, he sent a text stating that he sold the car to someone else. I contacted the sales manager, Alex Ertel, to express my frustration that Tom never returned our call about price and my disappointment that Tom was dishonest, telling us no one else would have the opportunity to look at the car while it was being repaired. Alex didn't say much, mostly just made thin excuses. It was clear that Tom had only given him half the story, and he wasn't much interested in listening to what I had to say. My husband and I also expressed our disappointment to Tom about the way we were treated. He texted back blaming Alex for our mistreatment. We did not get an apology from anyone at Beechmont Subaru, only pointing of fingers and poor excuses. I will be purchasing a Subaru, but I will not be purchasing from Beechmont Subaru. I will not work with a salesman who gets angry and acts rude for no reason, makes and breaks promises, and acts dishonestly. And I will not work with a company who stands behind their employees behaving in this manner. More

Even with my trade in he was upfront and transparent in the offer which at first I thought was low. But he directed me to sites that did a much better job of estimating a trade in price and it was right in the range he mentioned. Car had to be ordered and Tom kept me updated periodically and had the car available pretty much on time. The getting in and out was efficiently managed (< 2 hrs) at my convenience. I would definitely recommend Tom and Beechmont Subaru. More

Worries sent junk yard due to experience with Tom Friesen Buying a new car can come with pressures and anxieties, but thanks to Tom Friesen, I felt 100% comfortable and happy with my choice of a 2016 Subaru F Buying a new car can come with pressures and anxieties, but thanks to Tom Friesen, I felt 100% comfortable and happy with my choice of a 2016 Subaru Forester. He covered any question I could have potentially had with his overview of the vehicle and with a kindness I find so rare in this world. Tom is beaming with trustworthiness, and I found this appearance of a trustworthy salesman to be in fact, backed up with substance. If I ever buy a car again, it will be from Tom and no one else. More
