"Worst Experience Ever "

This was the absolute worst car buying experience I have EVER had in my life. I was lied to by the salesman multiple times concerning each & every aspect of the overall deal. I will will NEVER return to this dealership, nor will I recommend anyone to go here. This is only the place to go If you want the cliche dishonest, used car salesman experience, with all of the hassle, anger and frustration provided to you for free.

"Fraud Deceit Lies"

Bought a Jeep Wrangler and agreed and signed terms with salesman Michael Pham. Amber Lancaster changed terms, lied and added over 8,000 extra charges. I have contacted the dealer over 50 times and though Justin promised to help resolve issues he has never returned my emails or calls and it’s been 44 days. Shane Manry the Head of Sales told me himself that the sales manager told him I agreed to different terms than the ones that April inserted into the lease. They know I have been defrauded yet Justin refuses to respond to me. Shane Manry told me they video record transactions so they have proof of Amber and my discussions and my refusal to buy warranties $2164, $1500 and GPS $695, L&M 392.64 were all added to lease in addition to 42mos terms vs 36 mos. They have not canceled the warranties despite my requests. Two days after signing there are over 8 credit inquiries yet we had already had approved financing. I have contacted them for signed agreement with salesman yet still do not have. They also lied about my approval for financing. I have a credit score of 752 Experian as of this week. I have never seen anything like this. There is no one there that takes responsibility to address a customer who has been a victim of fraud. I also believe as a single woman they discriminate and have taken advantage of me. I have begun to log formal complaints with Jeep and their parent company FCA AUTO and TxDMV.

Tiffany, I don’t know how you run a customer service department with people like Justin Pacheco and Shane Manry in management and Amber Lancaster in Finance. I would love to know who is the upper management that you have asked to contact me because no one to date has called me. Also, no one can seem to tell me the owners name just like no one is giving me copies of everything I signed including the original agreements, the credit information on ALLY, the credit form permitting you to conduct credit inquiries and all documents that are part of my file. No one had responded when I told them I had not received any license plates, a bill for my lease, warranty cancellation or any information when I have asked for a copy of my file in its entirety. I requested the warranties be canceled immediately upon learning about Amber changing the leasing terms that I had agreed to and signed an acknowledgment of this with Michael and William in the sales department. I think Amber in all her unethical behavior has manipulated more than I even know to date as I don’t have a full copy of everything I signed with Metroplex. I can see that in addition to all else she proceeded to pull credit inquiries on me AFTER I already supposedly had a FINAL DEAL. To date, my lawyer, my insurance company and I have contacted the Connecticut DMV, and the car is not registered there. Yes, you can say that we have spoken. That is a fact, but that is representing a false situation because it leads one to believe that there has been a real attempt to resolve this matter. I have called, emailed and texted your Metroplex so many times. No one has contacted me with a resolution or made any meaningful attempt at resolving this, or it would have happened by now given I purchased my car over two months ago on 8/21. I guess the best response to this claim is asking if Metroplex canceled the warranties as requested and if so when? Has my current lease has been retracted and rewritten to remove the warranties for $2164, $1500, $695 GPS service, $392.64 L&M fee, $3450 deposit and applied TrueCar Amex certificate? Alternatively, even a better question is to ask what has been done or prove there has been a meaningful reply to the fraud. We have only spoken because my repeated calls have been forwarded to you as the last result from the receptionist given the many, many, many times I have called many different employees there in an attempt to get a resolution. I have spoken or attempted to call and left many emails and voicemails for Shane Manry-Sales Director, April Cerutti-HR, Paul Fillmore-Former GM, Joe Norman-GM, Justin Pacheco-GM, Michael-Salesman, Amber Lancaster-Finance and you, Tiffany McClain-Customer Service. One email message was returned recently by Justin on October 7th saying he will call me between 1-2 and that was in response to a claim I filed with Jeep USA. He NEVER CALLED ME. While it may be said I got a callback, there has been ZERO attempts at addressing or responding to the many issues at hand here… also, I never received a fax from you. I finally got a copy of my lease and warranties and buyers agreements after so many calls, texts, emails and conversations with not one but supposedly two GM’s. Joe Norman and Justin Pacheco. It was painfully apparent that management knew that there was an issue when no one just wanted to give me a copy of my paperwork …because of fraud and alterations. Not to mention the money factor, and lease terms are terrible based on my credit which is at 757 today per TransUnion, the Amex/Truecar rebates and the deal represented in your advertising online. The most violating factor to date is learning from Shane Manry, Sales Director of New Cars, that William, the Sales Manager who wrote up the original deal, had admitted to him that this altered lease was not the agreement I had signed. William admitted to Shane that it was never a 42-month agreement. HERE WE ARE TWO MONTHS LATER I AM STILL IN THIS SITUATION. WITH ALL MANAGERS KNOWING ABOUT THIS BEING FRAUD FROM THE SALES MANAGER AND SHANE MANRY TO JUSTIN PACHECO THE GM ALL BEING AWARE THAT OF THE FACT THAT THESE WERE NOT THE TERMS WE NEGOTIATED. NO ONE IS HAS BEEN RESPONSIVE OR PROACTIVE TO MY REQUESTS TO RESOLVE. ADDITIONALLY, AS YOU MUST KNOW PER SHANE, METROPLEX RECORDS ALL FINANCIAL NEGOTIATIONS SO, METROPLEX HAS A DETAILED AUDIO FILE OF MY MEETING WITH AMBER LANCASTER. THE AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDING PROVES WHAT WAS AGREED TO VERSES HOW THE LEASE WAS CHANGED AND HOW I SPECIFICALLY SAID THAT I DID NOT WANT THE ADDITIONAL ADD-ONS SUCH AS THE GPS, ETC AND HOW AMBER LANCASTER SAID SHE WAS GOING TO THROW THEM IN AT NO COST. THIS ENTIRE PROCESS SO FAR HAS TAKEN UP SO MUCH OF MY TIME, ENERGY AND FINANCIAL COSTS ALREADY, HAVING TO DEAL WITH THE RUN AROUND FROM METROPLEX AT THIS EXTREME LEVEL FOR THIS LENGTH OF TIME. I ALSO HAVE INCURRED LOSS OF TIME AND FEES FROM HAVING TO CONTACT METROPLEX REPEATEDLY, RESEARCH MY OPTIONS TO RESOLVE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS AND VIA THE CONSUMER WATCHDOG GROUPS. I HAVE FILED A REPORT WITH JEEP USA AND HAVE NEEDED TO FOLLOW-UP ON THIS MORE THAN ONCE. I HAVE HAD TO CONSULT MY ATTORNEY HERE, CONSULT WITH ANOTHER JEEP AUTO DEALER WHOM I TRUST AND WHERE I PURCHASED MY OTHER JEEP PRODUCTS, CONSULTED WITH MOPAR FOR WARRANTY FRAUD AND CONSULT WITH COMPASS FOR WARRANTY FRAUD. ALSO, I CONSULTED WITH ALLY FOR CREDIT INQUIRY DENIAL AND POSSIBLE FRAUD, CONSULT WITH ALL THREE CREDIT REPORTING AGENCIES ABOUT ADDITIONAL CREDIT INQUIRIES, FREEZE MY CREDIT AS A RESULT AND CONSULT WITH AND HIRE VARIOUS COUNSEL IN DALLAS. ALL OF THE AFOREMENTIONED IS NOT ONLY COSTLY, TIME-CONSUMING BUT VERY STRESSFUL. NOT TO MENTION TAKES ME AWAY I AM A SINGLE AND ONLY PARENT OF 5 CHILDREN WHICH I HAVE NO DOUBT IS A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR IN WHY I AM DISMISSED, IGNORED AND NOT A PRIORITY. WHY ONLY NOW THIS IS BEING KICKED UP TO MANAGEMENT ALSO REMAINS A MYSTERY. NOT TO MENTION I AM A LOYAL JEEP CUSTOMER WHO CURRENTLY OWNS TWO JEEP VEHICLES, THIS CURRENT JEEP WRANGLER IS OUR 3RD JEEP PRODUCT IN 4 YEARS. THIS TREATMENT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS A LOYAL CUSTOMER OR NOT. At this point, I have no other option but to pursue resolution through the legal process. I have been advised that Metroplex has violated several consumer protection laws and enough counts of fraud to warrant a tort action. I am preparing both civil and criminal complaints to include charges for deceptive advertising, automotive loan application fraud and deceptive add-on fees with the appropriate agencies including the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Texas Attorney General, Mortgage, Loan Fraud and Discrimination Working Group of the Attorney General’s Financial Fraud Enforcement Task Force, the Unfair, Deceptive and Abusive Acts and Practices (UDAAP) and the local Unfair and Deceptive Acts or Practices (UDAP) to name a few. As you must know the FTC since receiving authority over auto dealers under the Dodd-Frank Act, has taken on auto enforcement actions involving add-ons. Defined as the practice of a dealer or other third party adding to the vehicle sales, lease, or finance agreement charges for other products or services including but not limited to extended warranties, payment programs, guaranteed automobile protection (commonly called GAP or GAP insurance), credit life insurance, road service, theft protection, and undercoating]. The L&M added on my lease, also fall under this definition. If there are others out there who have been victims of the Metroplex dealings, please feel free to contact me here as I understand that "It would be unusual for an otherwise honest auto dealer to commit an isolated act of fraud. More likely, the actions that harmed me were merely one occurrence in an ongoing scheme perpetrated by the dealership owner or employees."
