I purchased a new Hyundai Palisade
Below is My response to the dealership asking how my experience went. No one has talked to me since I sent this.
Sure! Well first the salesman told me that I could get $3K off the price of my Hyundai Palisade. When I talked to the manager, he said that the best he could do was $1K off the top. Big difference there. Then once the sale was complete, I had to go find my salesman to let him know I was leaving. He just took a picture and sent us on our way. No one ever came out as promised to show us how to set up some “star link” feature. I had to make the salesman show my wife all of the features the car offers.
The finance manager made me wait an hour to see him, though I was the ONLY customer in the store. Then while doing paperwork, he cut me off to go talk to another gentleman for 15 min while I sat and waiting.
The car was brand new, but when my wife got home and we started looking in the vehicle, we found black finger smudges throughout the car. I’m assuming that came from the gentleman who supposedly “cleaned” the car for us before we left. Additionally I found a brown dirty spot on the driver’s seat. Again, assuming that was from the gentlemen who cleaned the car. Those spots certainly weren’t there when we looked at the car initially.
There’s no need to have anyone contact me. I won’t get the additional $2K that the salesman offered, and I’m not driving 30 min to have a brand new car cleaned. The star link feature I’m sure I’ll figure out on my own. I’d rather just fill out the survey and hopefully that will help change future sales for future customers. worst car buying experience of my life. Will not recommend to my friends, family or colleagues
