I dove into the internet and read every review I could find on cars that I felt might be a suitable replacement for my Explorer. I quickly realized that the automobile marketplace had changed a lot in 23 years. I had become a manual transmission guy in an automatic transmission world. I was also a believer in substantial cubic inches and horsepower. Alas, all the 2015 model cars I researched had liters instead of cubic inches, manufacturers who didn't mention horsepower, and only four, count 'em, four cylinders. But also in my research, Subaru stood out from all the rest in Owner Satisfaction, Safety Issues, and Dependability. So I lurked on all the online auto forums and read all the "how to get a fantastic deal on a new Subaru" discussion threads. And there are a slew of them, believe me. I learned a lot. Based on my research, I called several Idaho and Washington dealerships and spoke with sales people who clammed up as soon as I said I wanted to negotiate my purchase using E-mail exclusively. Their main concern seemed to be convincing me that I had to meet them at their respective dealerships in person. However, there was one pleasant sounding fellow who was unfazed by my E-mail request and made me feel right at home. He suggested we exchange E-mail addresses and get started. That accommodating guy was Steve Blue at Subaru of Spokane. He proved to be friendly and very Subaru savvy. He was also perfectly willing to stroll relentlessly into his Sales Manager's office with my original E-mailed lowball offer and my E-mailed counter-offers which finally morphed into an extremely well-priced order for my new 2015 Forester...with, get this, a 6 speed manual transmission. Steve even managed to get my new Subaru order delivered to me in half the time I thought it would take. If you wish to have someone working on your side when you buy your new Subaru...Call Steve Blue! I know you'll be glad you did. More

Great car buying experience! Visited Subaru of Spokane on May6, 2014 and meet sales person Aaro Hauer who showed my wife and I a 2014 Impreza sedan who was quite knowledgeable abo Visited Subaru of Spokane on May6, 2014 and meet sales person Aaro Hauer who showed my wife and I a 2014 Impreza sedan who was quite knowledgeable about the car and arrange a test drive of the car which is all that it took us to know that this was the right car to buy for our daughter's future needs. We get to enjoy this Impreza for now and when our daughter goes off to college in four years we will have peace of mind knowing that her safety while driving is just one lest thing to worry about her when out of our watch. Aaron was really helpful! Financing dept Tyler Holmes arrange a great loan package for us and we were pleased with the terms he got for us. We didn't need to any outside lender for a competive loan and he just topped off a great experience at the dealership! We went home with the new car that night to our surprise! Every person with whom I've dealt at Subaru of Spokane is professional, intelligent, knowledgeable and honest (yes, I said honest!). My car purchase was actually enjoyable instead of exhausting. The dealership staff asked questions before I thought of them, they were anticipatory and noted/answered every question I had. In the past when I have purchased vehicles at a dealership the sales people have often resorted to high-pressure tactics. These tactics included pressuring me to purchase vehicles that were not in dealership the sales people have often resorted to high-pressure tactics. These tactics included pressuring me to purchase vehicles that were not in my preferred price range, vehicles I was not interested in purchasing, and options such as extended warranties and insurance. But at Spokane Subaru, there were no high-pressure sales tactics. Sam showed me vehicles in my preferred range only, and vehicles he believed my wife would like (she wasn't present). We quickly found the right car for her and after a test drive, began the paperwork. Tyler Holmes was very expedient with the financing and stayed in my parameters I had set for the interest rate and monthly payment amount. Both Sam and Tyler were very professional and knowledgeable and my my new car purchase enjoyable. I highly recommend both as a satisfied customer! More

Craig and Sonny were awesome! I had previously gone to a different dealership to purchase a 2014 Forester and they wouldn't help me at all. My sister called Craig to help me out as she had bought her Fores different dealership to purchase a 2014 Forester and they wouldn't help me at all. My sister called Craig to help me out as she had bought her Forester from him. Craig had the paperwork done and ready when I showed up. I had to verify some information and sign paperwork. They made everything very easy and no hassle. I loved working with this team. I will definitely be going back when I'm ready for a new car and will refer others. Salesman Steve Blue appeared busy when we arrived at the show room entirely unannounced, but stopped what he was doing and quickly focused his attention on us to provide the answers to our questions. We immediately became his priority and he was very pleasant and professional in dealing with us. We bought our vehicle through the Costco Auto purchase program, and Steve made the decision & purchasing process quite simple. He went above and beyond by staying late to finalize the purchase on the day our vehicle arrived, and even came back the following day on his day off to finish up the process. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and took the time to ensure that we understood the vehicle and all of it's controls ect.Tyler in finance was pleasant and professional as well and working them both made the purchasing a breeze. We would buy from Steve and this dealership again, and have already made recommendations to a family member to meet with Steve. More

What a wonderful experience. I really hate buying a car, but had heard wonderful things about Mike and it was all true.
