Misleading sales and hidden car issues Wife and I found the used car we wanted but that it was a little priced and told the rep we would buy it but wanted to hear a better offer. We were th Wife and I found the used car we wanted but that it was a little priced and told the rep we would buy it but wanted to hear a better offer. We were there for about three hours and the rep kept dodging the deal repeatedly telling us, “we aren’t going to lose the sale over a few hundred dollars”. We waited and waited and finally he told us that he “doesn’t talk price with us, the finance guy does that”. The finance guy says, “ah wait. What? Ha! No. You need to go back to sales”. We go to sales and he (acting surprised to see us) tells us he will have to get the sales manager... we get it down $400 lol... get it home and a day later... the f’ing blower motor is bad and needs to be replaced. Our mechanic (Firestone and carx) says they the dealer hid the flaw so we wouldn’t hear it ha.. called the dealer and they said sorry... you bought it as is. More
