Vanessa was very very helpful when it came to deciding if I wanted the car or not. She wasn't pushy at all, and I felt comfortable around her as we are both women. Additionally, the inside of the dealership building was very cozy and personable. My husband and I were offered popcorn and water several times while we were there. This was my first time buying a car and having to finance it, so I was a bit worried about that part. But Vanessa and one of the other financial people made all the financing easy peasy. Now, the two things I wish I had thought about was (a) asking about spare keys or key fob, and (b) checking for the spare tire. I only got the one key and I think there is no key fob, which I'm fine with! There was also no spare tire, which will be an additional expense for me when I can buy one. But still a good experience overall. More

Grotes needs to follow through on their customer service. Final detail and touch up was not completed prior to pickup per contract stated. They had two days to get the work done. Overall, I felt good about the experience with Vanessa & Johnathan. However, I didnt trust Anthiny once he threw the $3000 warranty on the price list with no prior notification. Nor did he explain what the Johnathan. However, I didnt trust Anthiny once he threw the $3000 warranty on the price list with no prior notification. Nor did he explain what the warranty covered. He admitted later, when questioned, we didn't have to take the Grote warranty, but it bothered us so much, we almost didn't buy the car. Thankfully, the bank manager who processed our loan explained the warranty her bank could offer us instead, so we purchased through her. This small act from Anthony felt very shady and could have lost Grote the sale. Because of this, I don't know if we'll purchase from Grote in the future. More
