Saturday January 25 Anthony Hill assisted me with purchase of an Elantra. I’m a gracefully maturing senior who drove my Mercury for twenty years. Went out to my 2016 Hyundai Elantra today to get my babies groceries out of the trunk. I tried to pull the lever from inside the car that pops the trunk open and nothing. No pull that usually occurs to babies groceries out of the trunk. I tried to pull the lever from inside the car that pops the trunk open and nothing. No pull that usually occurs to open it. So I attempted to open the trunk with my car fob/remote and all I hear is a click sound but still my trunk will not open. So I called Circle Hyundai Shrewsbury (place where I originally purchased the car and have it serviced with) and was told I could make an appointment for an analysis for $200!!!!!!@!@!! Are you frigging kidding me. I could barely afford my babies groceries that are trapped in the trunk! So now, $200 for analysis and how much to fix the truck malfunction? THIS IS NOT A NORMAL CAR PROBLEM. More

No one will return your call if you have an issue after the sale. We found an advertisement for a used car online that we thought was a great deal so we drove 120 miles each way to look at the car. We ended up purchasing a used car from them in early April of 2021 and as of June 4th, 2021 our state STILL has yet to receive ANY paperwork to process our license plates even though we paid for them at the dealership. Our state has told us to get the tracking number and the date the paperwork was submitted and they would expedite our license plates since our temporary tag is expired. This dealership won’t even call us back to provide us that information. So now we have a car that we are paying for that we can no longer drive. More

ATROCIOUS!! That about sums up my experience at Circle Hyundai in one word! If I could give less than a one star rating, I would. I've never dealt with a Sales Manager like Vincent Lorenzo, that essential Hyundai in one word! If I could give less than a one star rating, I would. I've never dealt with a Sales Manager like Vincent Lorenzo, that essentially leads on a potential customer from online to in-person, with nothing but sales price lies and mischievious tactics explaining his pricing for a potential new vehicle purchase/trade-in. From a large ad with small fine-print online advertisement to get you in the door; to car sales price adjustments that don't match car window stickers or online deals or MSRP prices, that Is not how an "honest" dealership should operate. If can give advice to anyone, please do yourself a favor and LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR NEXT VEHICLE! More

We had previously purchased two vehicles from Circle and looked to purchase a third. While test driving the car we were interested in, we couldn't help but notice a very strong odor of cigarette smoke. Give looked to purchase a third. While test driving the car we were interested in, we couldn't help but notice a very strong odor of cigarette smoke. Given these circumstances, we offered a lower price. It appeared they were unwilling to negotiate, explaining the low mileage ( 4K) etc. We decided to pass on it but hopeful we could do business in the future.Several days later, I checked online and noticed the same car was still available but now near the price we offered. Stunned to say the least. Third time's not a charm- you lost us. More

Be careful - no customer service to be found!!! I try to get the word out when i have a positive experience, and don't like to write these kinds of reviews. . however, in this case my experience was I try to get the word out when i have a positive experience, and don't like to write these kinds of reviews. . however, in this case my experience was quite difficult - actually miserable - and i don't like the idea of other folks having similar setbacks. I actually purchased a Chevy here, and am concerned that my initial review would not be viewed by the more numerous Hyundai buyers. So to keep it brief ...I am the proud owner of a Chevy bolt, which was sitting in this dealership for about 2 years. so lucky for them i took it off their hands - buying a 2017 car in 2019 is not so smart, but i took a chance. . in any case the team was not educated about this car, and informed me that it would be fully charged after a night in my garage, plugged into the standard cable. to my surprise, i find that a full night plugged in only gives you about 25 to 30 miles, unless you spend close to a grand putting in a higher voltage charger. so this is one issue, which i am living with. in any case, the manager vincent tells me i could use the on-site charger at any time if i am having a problem. so i take him up on this and did use the charger there a few times. I'm not sure how long i am going to keep this car, since the charging is a hassle, and it's just not that comfortable overall, though i do like the technology. But turns out that the last 2 times i leave the car at the dealership I return to find that they have turned off the current on me. kind of vindictive on their part, i'd say, especially after having made a promise to me. At least they could have called to ask that I stop using their charger, since I barely make it into work today. also the supposed customer service rep - who was supposed to respond to my initial concerns - never got back to me. and finally the gm cares team also informed me that they are not able or wiling to help out with either my charging issues or the major issue with the poor seat comfort (part of the reason why the Koreans are taking over, most likely). in closing i'd have to warn you folks out there that this is not a very friendly, highly trained or customer-based group of individuals, though this is not easy to reconcile with my prior experiences here many years ago, when i had better times purchasing cars here. not sure what happened, and I intend to stay away. there are better choices out there. good luck! They honestly took everything I said to heart and I got what I was Looking for. Doesn't get any easier than this!!! I spent the last week bouncing from dealership to dealership. When I was greeted by Matt Lonano of Circle Hyundai in shrewsbury NJ i knew that my sea I spent the last week bouncing from dealership to dealership. When I was greeted by Matt Lonano of Circle Hyundai in shrewsbury NJ i knew that my search was finally over. He was a straight to the point, what can i do for you kind of guy. He made me feel like whatever i needed he was gonna be able to do, and man did he deliver. I have bought plenty of vehicles in my lifetime and this was bar none the best experience i have had. i whole heartedly recommend my new friends of Circle Hyundai of Shrewsbury. i would like to thank them formally in the review for everything and i look forward to buying many more vehicles from them in the future.
