I purchased a 2019 honda accord from 518 auto sales and immediately started having issues with it. It went in the shop at honda for an inspection within a couple of days of me buying it because it started immediately started having issues with it. I called Wendy and she told me that it was "as is" and something that I would have to take care of myself. Honda replaced the common failed part and that worked for awhile but the car continued losing acceleration from time to time. On Easter morning, my daughter was on her way to church when the car started overheating. I drove up to Richmond to look at it and couldn't figure out what exactly the problem was so I took it back to honda for them to look at it. Honda ran tests on it for 4-5 and couldn't find anything wrong. So Saturday, my daughter went to pick it up. She paid for the diagnostics and the service guy went to the back to get the car. When he brought the car around, the car had no acceleration and he stopped and parked it. They gave my daughter a loaner and went over the car again. So in 2 and a half months, its been in the shop nearly 2 weeks. The other day, they called and told me what the problem is. It requires a new head gasket!!! They found some type of searler in the radiator as well. Over $6,000 worth of repairs for a car that I've had 3 months. I can't reach Alex or Wendy via phone. Beware of the cars you purchase from 518 auto. I guess I need to stop by there. Bad business practice! Lesson being learned. More
