Nobody should be Felt like I was stuck at a playground on planet Wizard of Ozz It was the failure of 3 employees on 2 separate visits over 2 days. Nobody should be treated the way William treated me from the start of our 1st conversation until I finally had to leave. This was by far the most childish episode I’ve ever endured while trying to give someone my money Sold my car and was in the market for a ’09 or ’10 C4S. Saw Greater Chicago Motors website & they have an ’08 C4 - smaller engine but on the upside, very low miles. I headed to GCM with a pocket full of the money. I hoped to get the car for 3-4K lower than their asking price but I wasn’t going to leave without that car. I 1st met Khayin who explained the car was not at the dealership but rather, with the owner. The next day William explained, the owner of the car is a private seller & GCM has it on consignment. So the owner brings it by when necessary. I asked Khayin to contact the owner & I’d come back later that day to see it. Unfortunately he just never called me back - into the next day. So the next day I call the dealership, bypassed th4e sales dept and reached the boss, maybe Nick? He redirects me to a sales person named William. 1st conversation ever with William & already he has this disrespectful, dismissive tone 1st on the consignment thing. But he tells me the owner gets off of work at 6:30 and we should meet at 6:45. I had a delay so I called William because I was running 20 minutes late. Here’s where it goes from a clown show to S&%T show… William sarcastically tells me the owner left work early and “everybody” is waiting for me. I arrive at 7:05 & greeted by a locked overhead garage door entrance. I call but the automated attendant says, store is closed, leave a message….6 times over 20 minutes I’m in an alley, with a ton of cash, it’s 30 degrees outside and I’m banging on the door trying to get someones attention. The entire dealership is mad at me because nobody was smart enough to come to their locked door nor answer the office phones? I couldn't believe it. Ready to by but this ... I finally get in and, the owner and all those people William said were waiting for me were, nowhere to be found. So it’s me and William and Khayin was lurking back and forth..no apologies from Khayin for blowing me off the day before. Nothing from William for not answering the phone and not opening the door to let me in... I'm outside freezing for 20 minutes & William doesn't think to check on me, knowing I'd be there at 7:05. not thinking to call me, open the door or answer their office phone until I walk to the front and start looking for someone inside Finally see the car. Long story short, I was greeted with nothing but disrespect by Williams. Every question was met with sarcasm, incorrect info or just general snarky comments. I ask for the service history he rolla his eyes says, "yea, whatever is on the Carfax…" I'm thinking its a 10 year old vehicle, for $52K, & it's never had a scheduled maintenance performed, missed 2-3 based on age. Had 2 oil changes in 10 years with no attention to belts, plugs, hoses, fluids…Other than the oil and filter, the same fluids in that car from when it was manufactured 10 years ago. Porsche dealer charges $3-4K for that. While looking at the car William j keeps correcting me but with bad info while intentionally contradicting everything I say…from trying to convince me the 3.6 motor in the C4 is the same as a C4S which I state is a 3.8. This goes on and on for I dunno, the entire visit from viewing the car to trying to get a straight selling price out of Williams. He never once would give me a price. He also refused my request to speak with the boss and with the owner...He's challenging every word I say and demands I show him examples of cars I've negotiated great pricing. I wanted to buy locally but I couldn't get past William's snarky rude comments. He'd ask me to show an example then he'd talk over me. Putting words in my mouth. I’m fumbling through my cellphone, not remembering passwords getting so stressed. William then pulls up KBB.com to prove to justify their asking price. Mistake, KBB’s highest value for this model was guess, $7K lower than their asking price. I already knew that going in…i just wanted a fair price but because of the no service and no answers to my service questions, I was worried about over paying. I was prepared to pay $48K for their car, which current selling price averages $43-$45. I already know the belts and plugs will need to be serviced by Porsche & cost $3,000 or more… This went on it feels like for 1 hour..it could have been 15 minutes for all I know We never even made it to a purchase phase. I still don't know if he was willing to discount even $1 off their listed price. No negotiation, just hyperbole and utter disrespect. William just made me feel really marginalized, disliked, judged / mis-judged, singled out and most of all, disrespected. Not my 1st time at the rodeo. It's apparent William has issues with either me, or women like me. He's making up features, engine sizes. Everything from Sports Chrono to engine sizes... 100%ordering on abusive behavior towards me, someone different than him. William just seemed to be reading from a sales 001 book but only every 3rd or 4th page...NEVER had that experience when buying a car over the past 40 years. Also not a single person at that dealership bothered to check on how the deal was going and absolutely not 1 person made a follow up call. This behavior comes from the top otherwise there is no way a sales person would get away with how I was treated. This company will be out of business in 2 years or less More

Look Before You Leap I was a little disappointed in my 2007 BMW Z4 that was presented as being "the car to buy". I requested additional photos as I'm very particular but I was a little disappointed in my 2007 BMW Z4 that was presented as being "the car to buy". I requested additional photos as I'm very particular but pictures aren't as revealing as direct eye contact. The car arrived with no rubber trim between the roof metal and windshield. The cowl that fits at the bottom of the windshield was deteriorating. The carfax reported no accidents but the driver's door had been poorly repaired by a "paint less dent repair" tech. I received one key with the car and the battery in the key was dead making remote locking impossible. So since taking possession of the BMW I have had to replace the wind shield trim and cowl for $577, purchased a new key from the local BMW dealer for $250, and got an estimate for driver's door repair of $1050. Sales will tell you that no used car is perfect and man were they right. It will take around $2000 to make it right. For these reasons this will be the last car I by without seeing it in person! More
