Nothing Special Like most people in 2019. I researched the car I wanted which lead me to this dealership. Made a call and set up an appointment for a test drive. M Like most people in 2019. I researched the car I wanted which lead me to this dealership. Made a call and set up an appointment for a test drive. Met the dealer Yong Shin. Nice guy. Has been doing this for a long time. "Many years" as he said. My criticisms are his inability to listen to the customers questions and lack of patience. The test drive is an opportunity for the customer to get a real feel of the vehicle. A tactile experience. When I went to adjust settings on the steering wheel or dash, He kept flicking my hand away as he was describing a function I didn't even ask about. It was annoying. The whole process took about 4-5 hours. which is way too long. We negotiated. and finally came up with a walk out the door price. The finance manager showed no attempt to connect. The experience with her felt like a checkout line at the supermarket. Surprised she didn't try to up sell me on extended insurance or anything. Maybe cause I was an all cash sale. As cold as she was at least she was the fast side of the process. Don't recall her name. In regards to the facilities. It's okay. There is a "lounge" area downstairs by the service center where they have free coffee and bagels. Don't expect a 5 star experience. Coffee was decent. Bagels were meehh. Overall my personal experience was fair to okay. I test drove the same car at a different Honda dealer in Brooklyn. The sales rep I interfaced with there was far better. Listened, attentive. Was not overbearing with pressure. The BK rep just provided info as opposed to the Garden State rep that was just desperate for a sale. I would not recommend this place, but if you can get a good price on a CPO then you gotta go where you gotta go. More
