In my life I have purchased may new, used,. and certified vehicles from a dealer, I seem to always have a problem with the business manager concerning their tactics of high pressure, distort and certified vehicles from a dealer, I seem to always have a problem with the business manager concerning their tactics of high pressure, distorting the details, etc. resulting in me not trusting them by not taking the deal and leaving the facility. With Brewster Subaru, I was ready to make the deal but had to see the business manager on financing. I was taken by surprise by Rich Johnson, who I might say looked impeccably dressed for a business manager. I stepped into his office and felt so comfortable and relaxed with his easy going personality. He explained the financial packaging they were offering which was a great deal with the percentage and time period, but I was not interested. I stated what my thoughts were concerning my preference. He went thru his file and pulled out exactly what I wanted at a great deal and accepted. I signed paperwork on the Web plus handouts. He was so efficient in his orderly fashion that before long everything was completed. I ws not rushed and had the time to think the plan over with my additional comments and questions. In the end we even had time to discuss our national heritage. I know from now on where I'm buying my Subarus, and the Business Manager I will be seeing. More

We already had our leased 2024 Forester Touring and were looking to upgrade to the new 2026 Forester Touring Hybrid in a few months. Kayla took our information and what we were looking for (exterior and interior colors)and she put together a price estimate.It was less then two other dealerships(and one was the upstate dealership we have dealt with for our previous leases).When Nick and I left both of us had decided we would be going back to Brewster Subaru and Kayla..and we did just that the next day! Once we signed off on our new 2026 car,we went to see Rich Johnson,Brewster Subaru’s business manager and it was unlike any experience we’ve ever had in any car dealership: no bartering,no hidden fees,no nonsense .Rich reminded me of an “Old School” gentleman,upfront and honest.Rich impressed both of us so much with his auto business knowledge my husband actually bought additional service insurance!(he never has done that) And last but not least was Michael Barone-he has both the patience and knowledge to teach all the bells and whistles of our new car to 2 seventy+ adults and he did it twice!
