These guys make me nostalgic for the bu**sh** I was referred to Zack by a family member. I was looking for a new car as my lease was expiring. I need to pick out a SUV (I'm more of a sports sedan I was referred to Zack by a family member. I was looking for a new car as my lease was expiring. I need to pick out a SUV (I'm more of a sports sedan guy) because of where I was in the Midwest and the lake effect snow. When I reached out for a general pricing, I didn't get the usual "it can be $400-800 depending on the options and how much you pay upfront answer". I got a real car quote along with options and a payment plan that included taxes and all other fees. This helped me figure out a real price based on what options were available and decide rather than giving a vague set of packages and options without even knowing if I could afford a basic car or not. I shopped around and got much higher quotes. I changed my mind more times than most and I received a very responsive Zack on the other side sending me more car quotes. We never dealt in vagueness and I felt very comfortable knowing that there wasn't going to be a last-second surprise ("oh, oops this was a $100/mo less because it only has two wheels standard and you have to pay extra for the other two"). While the millennial in me continues to believe that dealerships are a way to make us pay another 10-20% extra money on cars beyond their worth, people like Zack and eAutoLease introduce a level of competition to the monopolized status quo in car lease and purchases. Finally, all I really had to do was sign at the "x" when Zack had my car delivered to my doorstep and my previous lease was driven away to its respective dealership. I couldn't believe how easy it was. My friends thought I was joking when I said things were "too easy," but they really were. I almost miss the drama of haggling and fighting and being disrespected by car dealers ("you can't afford that one"). More
