Hi, I’m Zander, and I’ve been proud to call Mercedes-Benz my professional home for over 13 years now, with my anniversary coming up this March. I grew up in Houston, Texas, but I’ve been lucky to call beautiful Colorado home since 1996. As a Mercedes-Benz Certified Sales Manager—and also a certified Wine Sommelier—I love combining my passion for precision, elegance, and exceptional experiences to help clients find the perfect vehicle. Over the years, I’ve owned an exciting variety of Mercedes-Benz models, including a 2010 ML 350, 2012 E 350, 2013 ML 350, 2014 ML 350, 2018 GLC 300, 2019 GLC 300, 2021 GLC 300 Coupe, and my current ride, a 2023 EQB250. With three drivers in my household, I have fun swapping for newer models as they get traded in—there’s always something fresh and exciting to discover! - I liked Jordan, he was easy to work with. ..untili I asked him where my charging cables were, and he tried to tell me my EQE doesn't come with charging cables. I had to look it up on the Merc ..untili I asked him where my charging cables were, and he tried to tell me my EQE doesn't come with charging cables. I had to look it up on the Mercedes Benz website and show him charging cables came with all electric mercedes. If I hadn't caught the mistake and threatened to walk out, he would have sent me home with no way to charge my EQE. That is very uncool. Jordan is also a newer salesman, so perhaps he was just being instructed by his supervisor to not include the charging cables. Either way, some trust was lost. I couldn't help but think, what else are they supposed to give me that I didn't catch? -With regards to sitting down with the finance department, there were a couple of things I found ridiculous. They tried to sell me window tinting, but couldn't provide any documentation about the window tinting product. I'm not one to just give a business $550 without having some kind of documentation of what I'm buying. Also, there's a clause in the paperwork that if Mercedes HQ doesn't accept my lease deal, I will have to pay them $150 a day and for each mile that I drove the car until I returned it to them. That is ridiculous! I'm either approved or not improved. In the end, Zander (management) did whatever he needed to do so I wouldn't walk out on the deal, so that I appreciate... However none of these things should have happened in the first place. More
