Bought a nice Tahoe here and paid for the Lo Jack but could never get it activated. When I tried to follow up with the Dealership I received no help just got the run around. This was a $995 addition to t could never get it activated. When I tried to follow up with the Dealership I received no help just got the run around. This was a $995 addition to the cost of the vehicle and it doesn't work. Very disappointment with the whole experience. More

Very welcoming and everyone made you feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m 22 years old and bought my first new truck, they were very honest, gave me tons of options/ideas and at the end of the day came out to b relaxed. I’m 22 years old and bought my first new truck, they were very honest, gave me tons of options/ideas and at the end of the day came out to being the best decision I’ve ever made. At first I was super nervous they would try to trick me into something but it was the complete opposite they did everything they could to make it happen for my needs/wants far as payments and add ons. This dealer is the way to go for potential “first new” truck/car owners but overall the best, thank you classic elite Chevrolet sugar land!!! I’ll be back for a diesel pick up some day 😉 More

The U. S. News Best Price Program Powered By TrueCar gave me a VIN number and Stock number for a Traverse along with the quoted price for a vehicle at Classi S. News Best Price Program Powered By TrueCar gave me a VIN number and Stock number for a Traverse along with the quoted price for a vehicle at Classic Chevrolet. The quoted price was $755 lower than the listed sales price on the dealer's web site. When I went to the dealer, they said the Traverse with that VIN was not available because it had been assigned as a loaner car. The quoted price was not honored by the dealership on an identical car with the same sticker features and MSRP. This is a classic “bait and switch” scheme. When they refused to honor the TrueCar price, I offered the price listed on their web site (which was still an attractive price, but $755 higher than the price I was expecting). The salesman gave me a pricing sheet, with over $3,900 in "accessories" (e.g. LoJack, lifetime engine coverage, Nitrogen filled tires, other maintenance services, etc.) as an additional charge. When I said I didn't want any accessories and I wanted the car as described on the sticker at the advertised web listing price, I was told that some accessories had already been installed and the dealership wanted me to pay for those. When I said they could remove the accessories, I was told that I would have to pay to remove them, which I said was ridiculous. The floor manager got involved and again gave me a hard sell to pay for the "accessories". I reiterated several times that I wanted the vehicle at the price offered on the web site, and signed an offer that stated the listed price without additional charges as my final offer. He said he had to talk to the General Manager and would come back with a "Yes or No" answer. I told him that I was frustrated with wasting more of my time, and he said "two minutes". He returned 5 minutes later with another offer with an "accessories" charge of $1,000. I said “No Thank You” and stood up to leave. He crossed out the $1,000 charge, leaving the sales price at the value I had asked for almost 2 hours previously. After agreeing on the price, I still had to sign multiple irrelevant documents, including a loan application form for Ally, even though I was paying cash, and documents related to the “accessory” services that I had refused. I included disclaimers with my signature on forms I did not think were necessary to record my objection with signing them, and to specify that the loan/service was not requested. After signing all requested forms, I went to wait for the Finance office. In the meantime, the salesman brought over several forms that he wanted me to sign again, because the floor manager had signed a different copy. I suppose it did not occur to them, from a customer service perspective, that the floor manager should just sign the forms that I had already signed. Even after all this, I waited an hour for the Finance person, even though I could see them laughing and talking in their office without seeming very busy. The Finance person was efficient and nice once we started, but I did not receive copies of all the forms that I had signed for the salesman. This was by far my worst car buying experience, having purchased over 12 new and used cars in my lifetime (2 in the last 3 years for graduating kids). I should also note that the web site inventory has been updated to remove the Traverse I purchased, but the one in the original quote from TrueCar is still listed for sale. More
