When calling to set up service of my vehicle, I specifically requested a price quote for a key fob and programming of the unit on the phone. I was quoted a total of $97 which seemed to be online with a quote I had received from a private locksmith for 125 so I agreed to the service, I dropped my vehicle off the service took a little over one hour at which time when I picked my vehicle up I was surprised to hear the total be close to $560. I discussed the situation with the service representative Kolton he made a military allowance for me to give me a reduction, but the price still was over $500 , I was deeply unsatisfied at having been quoted an initial price and then to have a significant price increase when the service was actually completed unfortunately for me I did not get a written estimate prior to having this work done, but this appears to be a bait and switch tactic More
I had my vehicle serviced when this was Gus Johnson Ford, and I was very impressed. My most recent service, however, was not nearly as impressive. Both of the last two services I’ve had had considerable pric and I was very impressed. My most recent service, however, was not nearly as impressive. Both of the last two services I’ve had had considerable price differences from what I was quoted to my final bill and the amount of time of which it took to complete. This service seemed overly lengthy, I dropped my vehicle off on a Friday morning expecting to be able to pick it up later in the day at the time I did drop it off the service representative and indicated it could be Monday which I was fine with. Out of the repairs that were recommended only one was completed and I wasn’t able to pick my vehicle up until the following Thursday which means Corwin Ford had it for approximately a full week to complete one service and an estimate. The estimate that I was sent by email indicated the one service I had selected was going to be approximately $79 however, just prior to having the service performed. The representative contacted me and indicated that labor had not also been included and that the repair would be closer to $300, I did agree to have the service performed at that rate however, this is my second instance of having a quote given to me upfront and then having to pay more after the fact More
