100/10 I know this review might run a bit longer, but trust me, I've got some serious praise to shower on Robert Pena and Hall Mazda.
A few month ago, I started my journey to find my perfect car. Armed with an arsenal of online research, I had my sights set on three options. When I reached out to Hall Mazda for a test drive, things got interesting real fast. Robert not only scheduled an appointment in a flash but also sent me a personalized video tour of the cars, the dealership, and even directions. Talk about a red carpet welcome!
Fast forward to the test drive – Robert was like my trusty co-pilot, explaining all the car's bells and whistles, features, and functionality. Post-drive, he spent two hours decoding my car research, answering all of my questions, and guiding me through the automotive maze. No pushy sales tactics here, folks. I left that day to check out other cars on my list.
Now, let me tell you, my visits to other dealerships were like stepping into a library during a quiet hour – stiff, formal, and about as personal as a voicemail recording.
The value you get from a Mazda can't be understated. What comes standard would be hundreds or thousands more to add on to another vehicle. After that, I was confident in my decision to buy a CX-5.
Contacted Robert again, received an immediate response. Stopped by the dealership and unfortunately the color/trim that I wanted wasn't in stock. He checked locations in other states and tried to trade for the ONE that was in stock elsewhere. When that didn't work, we ordered one. He let me know it would take a few months.
Come December, and I couldn't help but notice the dealership's holiday deals and incentives. I was willing to switch colors, so I shot Robert another message. He was quicker than Santa on Christmas Eve. With more inventory in the area, he was able to locate the one I wanted that was scheduled to arrive in NC. A few days later i'm back at the dealership for the actual purchase.
Now, I hadn't bought a brand-new car in ages, and I was super nervous. But thanks to Robert and the Hall Mazda crew, this wasn't a horror story waiting to unfold. The whole process was easy and transparent. I was able to take advantage of incentives and was felt ZERO pressure to buy anything extra. I really could not have asked for a better experience.
The morning after my purchase, I noticed what looked like some polish left on the hood. I texted Robert, and instead of just advice, he rolled out the red carpet (again). He invited me back to the dealership (where I'd left something in my old car) and gifted me a set of fancy cleaning goodies. Now, that's service!
Oh, and did I mention how clean and friendly the dealership was? Every single staff member I encountered was so genuine and warm. They take the time to chat; nothing is rushed (or drawn out!). If you're on the hunt for a new set of wheels and a dealership experience that feels more like hanging out with friends, I wholeheartedly recommend Hall Mazda and Robert Pena. Definitely a customer for life!
