I have tried to patronize this dealership's service department several times - mainly because I purchased my vehicle from Brandon at this location and had a great buying experience. But almost every in department several times - mainly because I purchased my vehicle from Brandon at this location and had a great buying experience. But almost every interaction with service has been a 1-star experience. I believe Tony manages this department in a way that promotes fear-mongering and deceitful / opportunistic policies and practices. I recently gave up on Tony's department and took my vehicle to a different nearby Ram service center and had a 100% opposite experience. I wasn't pressured to sign any documents accepting responsibility for payment and the tech identified the problem quickly and the advisor worked efficiently with the warranty company, I do not believe it's a coincidence that my experience was 5-Star at Reed Ram Service. I believe the ODCJR service is rigged to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. Again, my opinion is not based on one single recent experience. I've been trying to work with ODCJR for more than 4 years and almost every single time there are unnecessary sales tactics and inefficient delays, and broken promises, and return visits for the same problems. Honestly a pretty bad experience. My vehicle was scheduled to go in for service at 10:30 on Saturday. When I get there I'm told that they don't know why anybody scheduled me because My vehicle was scheduled to go in for service at 10:30 on Saturday. When I get there I'm told that they don't know why anybody scheduled me because they don't have a lot of technicians. They said they would try to "squeeze" me in. I said, "well no it wouldn't be squeezing me in... I'm scheduled to be here." Later that day somebody calls me and tells me that my evaporator temperature sensor seems to be malfunctioning. They go on to say that they won't be able to finish it that same day and that it will have to wait till Monday and they apologize. Then on Monday they tell me that it's going to be a $3,800 repair... They say that the evaporator core is leaking. I asked him how much they had to add to fill the system they said 16 oz well the problem is the system only holds 26 oz... So to be 16 oz low would be pretty significant. They then go on to claim that the air conditioner is working but they believe it has that leak. I tell them to just go ahead and top it off and I'll live with a small leak I get out to my vehicle which had been topped off with refrigerant only a few minutes before... It does not have working air conditioning I hop in my truck and take it to a repair shop about 10 minutes away they pull the codes and immediately recognize that there's an issue with the evaporator temperature sensor... They track it down to a connector that had worked its way loose. They plug the sensor back in and now the air conditioner works being bang boom no big deal... I've been trying for several days to get a hold of the service manager and the assistant service manager... They are not returning my phone calls at this point. The funny thing is I now know that this is not going to be where I go when I buy my new Ram truck... If they can't even take care of hooking up a simple loose connection... How are they going to take care of a 40 to $90,000 vehicle? And I guess worse yet if they can't even talk to me about the situation then why would I bother? More

They didn’t pressure us and let us test drive a lot of different vehicles until my wife found one she was happy with. This was the 3rd time I’ve bought a vehicle from this dealership and I was glad to see different vehicles until my wife found one she was happy with. This was the 3rd time I’ve bought a vehicle from this dealership and I was glad to see they are still awesome. My Dodge Ram Cummins I bought from them in 2007 was total out in the storm last week. I will be calling them shortly to replace it as soon as I get the insurance check. More

Most everyone I’ve come across have been very helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant. For a “dealer” I’ve had decent service. knowledgeable, and pleasant. For a “dealer” I’ve had decent service. More
