I had a very positive experience in upgrading my 2000 Tacoma to a 2008 model. My 8-year old truck with 71K miles was running great and I was planning to keep it for a long time. Then I learned (from Toyota) about the frame rust problems. I am totally amazed at Toyota's responsible approach to this issue. First class—customer-focused all the way. Toyota owned up to the problem with no quibbling and I think their terms on the buyback were very generous. I was already a Toyota fan, and this experience re-emphasizes why.

Buying the new truck at Acton Toyota was a very straight-forward, pleasant experience. Dave Anderson was very personable and responsive throughout. He located the exact model/color/options I wanted and quickly got the truck to Acton. The no surprises internet pricing approach is very nice to work with. It may not be the rock bottom price (but it’s pretty good). And with no haggling and friendly people to work with, this is definitely the way to go

In my 52 years of buying cars, Acton Toyota and my salesman Steve Agusta are the first I have come across that I trust completely. There was no haggeling about price, the price they gave me was the best one I had received and the service I got from Steve was just super. I needed to pick my car up and get back home where I was taking care of some grandkids and had to be there when they came home from school. Steve was scheduled to come in later in the day but came in early for me and walked all the papers through and had me on my way in just a couple of hours. He took care of faxing all the info to my Insurance Agent and got my registration. My experience with the Finance Manager was also excellent. I told him that I did not want any add ons and he said fine and I was out of his office in 10 minutes. I have finally found a Dealer and salesman that I would not hesitate a second to recommend.

I've purchased a lot of cars in my life and have learned to expect high pressure sales tactics and stress. This time was completely different! My initial contact through email was replied to quickly with several vehicles that matched my criteria along with prices that were already several thousand dollars lower than MSRP! My salesman, Steve Jensen, was knowledgeable and friendly and did everything he could to find me the vehicle I wanted. Throughout the entire buying process I felt no pressure whatsoever. They did not insist on looking at my trade before I was ready, in fact I left and came back three times before purchasing. Also, they never attempted to play with the numbers. The only number I was not happy with was my trade, and when I made a counter offer they accepted. Financing was a breeze, and I was shocked that they explained the extras, and if I didn't appear interested they moved on to the next one. They did not try to make you feel foolish for turning any of them down. All numbers were clearly displayed in front of me and the finance person explained each one. Buying a car should be fun - it costs enough, it should be fun! And with Acton Toyota it really is! I've long felt that with all the games that car dealers play, if someone decided to just sell cars at a fair price and not play games they would become the most successful dealer in town. Finally, I found one that figured that out! I will definitely be back for my next truck!

this is my first buy at acton toyota, my wife has bought two new cars, and she told me how great everybody is at acton toyota.I went down to see them about, buying a new truck, walk in and was greeted by a great sales person, as i went through the process, it became very clear to me, that coming here was the right choice.My sales person Dave Anderson, what i call beyond GREAT, lead me through the paper, view of the truck i pick etc. Dave was real easy to work with, and acton toyota should be very proud to have him on their staff.

With rising gas prices, I was looking to trade in my Tacoma and purchase a Toyota Matrix. My main concern was that I got a fair amount for my trade. Carl McPhee (my salesperson) immediately lowered the selling price of the matrix by $1050, and they also gave me more than I thought they would for my trade ($4000 over Kelley Blue Book trade in value). With a deal like this, I decided there was no need for any more negotiation. (I didn't really have to negotiate anything!) They got my new Matrix cleaned up and I drove it home that night. Everything went smoothly! I would definetly recommend Carl McPhee and the rest of the staff at Acton Toyota.

We have purchased two vehicles from Acton Toyota in the past 4 months. After our first wonderful experience, we would not go anywhere else. We think their prices are excellent and they are upfront about everything. I'd recommend getting an Internet quote before you go. That's how we handled both transactions. But, if you do your homework, there are NO surprises. We have dealt with Wellington Pereira (who is the BEST!!!!), Ben (was the finance guy for our first purchase, very good, we didn't buy any "extras" and didn't feel badly about it), Frank (finance guy this last time, also excellent, saved us a good chunk of money in financing and preserved our rebate) and Ken Hsu. Ken handled our delivery the first time. He was very nice and professional, so I had no reservations about dealing with him this time when Wellington was not available. Ken is very nice, very knowledgeable and very patient. I'd give him a 4.5 out of 5 (as opposed to the 5 I'd give the other 3 people we dealt with, actually, I'd give Wellington a 10!!!!) There was some confusion initially regarding financing rates, which resulted in a larger payment (which Frank later straightened out). And with our first purchase, we were never asked for a down payment to hold the car, and Ken did ask us for one. It just made me nervous. Frank also straightened that out immediately. I just felt some pressure from Ken that I had never felt from the dealership before, or from anyone we had dealt with. And pressure makes me (and, I imagine, lots of other people), feel nervous. Acton Toyota has NO REASON to pressure anyone. They are awesome, including Ken. I know that we got two great vehicles at fair prices. The dealership HAS to make some money. Oh, as an aside, they are FINE with not talking about trade-ins, until you decide on a price for the new vehicle. Non of the OK, better price on the new, bad trade in garbage. Summary: Because of our experience, we would not even consider another type of car or another dealership.

I had a great experience at Acton Toyota. My family has been buying from this dealership for almost 20 years now, and every time it's the same story: great service. Wellington Pereira searched high and low for the 2009 Corolla S that I was looking for, and he kept me abreast of the situation as it unfolded. He was more than willing to set up multiple test drives before I actually settled on the Corolla. He really made buying my first car a much smoother experience than I would have imagined.

I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for great service and a friendly, personable staff. Many of the employees have been there for almost as long as we have been going there, which is a testament to how well things are working at this location. I know that as long as I remain in the area, Acton Toyota will be my location for any future car purchases.

Very bad experience with this dealership. I was looking for a 2009 Camry. First of all, they started quoting me all these fees: “$10 Gas fee, $126 Floormats, $200 Finance Reserves, $424 Factory Holdback, and $280 Advertising”. These fees set off alarm bells in my head, but I thought, “well, they seem to be highly rated.” We decided to visit the dealership anyway to check it out, but I was on my guard because of the fees. After some negotiation, they agree to take an additional it down $400 because we were graduating students. However, they never told us we had to finance in order to take advantage of it. We didn’t find that out until after we returned to the dealership the second time to buy the car. We had the cash and were willing to pay upfront, but they refused. They said we had to finance at least $5000 to take advantage of the $400 rebate. I knew they could waive the finance charges, because my brother was given the $400 off without financing when he graduated from college and bought his first Camry. We walked out pretty mad.

We went to Woburn Toyota the next day. Their initial price was actually lower than Acton’s initial quote to me! We asked them to bring it down $400, and they agreed. And we were able to pay cash. No hassles, no pushing, no bait & switch. Go to Woburn Toyota and ask for Art Derfall. He’s fantastic. Very down to earth, and listened very carefully to everything we wanted. He was rated “excellent” by quite a few other people as well. He never pushed the “$10 gas fee, $126 mandatory floor mats, $280 advertising, etc”. Glad I gave him my business. He was a pleasure to work with, and I love my new car.

Acton toyota is the best car dealer I have ever visited. Mr. Ken Hsu is very straightforward and gave a very good internet price quote. And when I visited him, he helped a lot to find the car I wanted and show the transparent price information to me. We settled down the car style and options smoothly and signed the contract and then got the car 2 days later. And Mr Hsu also introduced a lot about the features of the car to us in detail.

The entire process was a pleasure and fun. They answered my question quickly and patiently.

I would recommend Acton Toyota and Mr. Ken Hsu to everybody I know who wants to buy a Toyota/Scion.

I recently purchased a car from Acton Toyota. I started with the Internet, because I don't like pushy salespeople. I found over the last several years that this is a great starting place. Carl McFee from Acton Toyota responded to my request. He understood exactly what I wanted. He didn't try to sell me options that I wasn't interested in. He went out of his way to answer my questions. When I saw the color of the car I was interested in, I didn't like it. He went through the list again to find another one without extra options and took me out to the yard to show me the color of the exterior and the interior because the car wasn't there. I was also able to take a car out for a test run without someone with me which I prefer. My buying experience from this dealership was exactly what I was looking for. The purchase price and my trade in was the final decision. Through this whole transaction there was never any pressure on me to do anything I didn't want to do. I also have taken my previous Toyota to this dealership for service. I have had the same experience with the service department. Courtesy and service are a big part of this dealership.

I have been looking at different toyota dealerships for a new Tacoma for the past few weeks. The sales pressure I experienced at the other dealers was annoying. I went to Acton Toyota and I had a great experience. Jim Piazas, Sales Representative was the best Sales Representative I have ever dealt with. No sales pressure. I told Jim, the model and color Tacoma I wanted, and the price I wanted to pay. In two days, he had the truck. I took the truck for a long ride. When I came back, I told him I wanted the truck. I asked questions about the truck and he went over everything with me. I picked up the truck two days later. When I got there on Saturday Morning, Jim was waiting for me. The truck was washed and waxed, and had a full tank gas. The plates were on the truck, and the paper work was complete. Jim asked me if I was happy with the truck and I said everything is perfect.

You could not ask for a better experience.

My experience at Acton Toyota was pleasant and stress-free from beginning to end! I had been referred by a friend; as a result, I contacted Matt Farnsworth (the internet manager) via email to ask for a quote on a 2008 Toyota Prius. He responded within the hour with quotes for several models and options. I then visited the dealership for a test drive. When I arrived, I sat down with Bob Rabb, my salesperson, who explained a little about the vehicle, after which I actually drove two models. I settled upon a new 2008 Toyota Prius Touring Edition. I was able to obtain the EXACT model, color and option package that I had requested. This is unusual for this particular car, since it is literally flying out of lots everywhere; however, the inventory and pricing at Acton Toyota was superior to any of the several other dealerships where I did research. Everyone was extremely comfortable to deal with. There was no "pressure" to buy additional upgrades, options, etc. With a small down-payment (which was fully refundable in the event that I decided to not purchase the vehicle), the car was held for me so that my wife would have an opportunity to see it the next day.

When we arrived, they asked if I would like to pick it up that day. I was not expecting to do that, but they prepared the car in a couple of hours and I drove it home the same day!! I DID purchase an extended warranty which is highly recommended for any vehicle that incorporates "cutting-edge" technology. The dealership was very accommodating in ensuring that everything was done to my satisfaction. It was one of the smoothest auto transactions that I have experienced, and I would recommend Acton Toyota very highly!!

My entire experience with these 3 gentlemen was PHENOMINAL. Carl responded to my e-mail the first day and sent me out a quote. I visited the dealership after going to one that was closer to home _ they were a waste of my time. When I went to Acton Toyota Kyle was wonderful!! This was not the first dealership I had gone to. I am a 21 year old college student and was treated just as equal as a business man. I bought a certified 2004 corolla (which is great on gas), from JOHN BERNARD, and it had a slight dent in it that I asked if he could fix and he assured me no problem. They provided me with a 2008 Camry hybrid to drive around while my corolla was in the shop. when it came back the auto body guys had messed up and i was reluctant to say anything thinking that I was going to have to face facts that this really is just another dealership, BUT IT WAS NOT, John and his sales manager Jeff (without me even telling them I wasn't happy with it) refused to let me be take it in that condition and had the car sent back to the auto body to be refinished; while they paid for my rental for a few more days! I came back and the car's body work was beyond wonderful, they also replaced a scratched hubcap and fixed another small dent in the front. John shook my hard with a smile and I was off as content as ever. THIS DEALERSHIP IS NOT ORDINARY THEY ACTUALLY WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY IN ALL WAYS AND WILL NOT STOP TRYING UNTIL YOU ARE! 5/5 HANDS DOWN! ASK FOR JOHN BERNARD HE WILL TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT AND IS A DOWN TO EARTH GUY.All said and done I will be a long lasting Acton Toyota customer and would reccomend this dealership to any friend.

Imagine actually looking forward to car shopping. That's how I feel about Acton Toyota. Every other dealership I've been to in the Boston area gives me endless hassle, runaround, manipulation and lies--the standard car salesman BS. Acton Toyota gives me a straightforward, simple no hassle quote--which has always been lower than the negotiated "bargain" price other dealerships offered.

All of the salesmen there have been helpful. They cooperate with each other. Steve Jensen helped me buy my Corolla Matrix and RAV4. He loves cars, and the enthusiasm shows. It's great to have fun test driving a new car and have someone show you all its features. Steve, Ken Hsu and Anthony Clark always answered my questions promptly, and didn't try to pressure me. They did go out of their way to help me find the exact car I was looking for, and emailed me to let me know about new Toyota incentives.

I highly recommend Acton--a COMPLETELY different car buying experience. Stop the madness of normal car buying, and go shop at Acton where people will actually try to serve you instead of hassling you.

I heard good reviews about Acton Toyota dealership from some of people I know, and I was not disappointed, when I used them to get my new Toyota car. I made all the inquires about the new car price and options over Internet (with Juliana), and had a reasonable price quote, which I agreed to. The dealer did not have the car with the exact configuration in stock, but offered to get it from another dealer. Original wait time estimate was two weeks; the actual time was one week, and the car was delivered directly to the dealer (not driven from another dealer). Every stage of the purchase process met my expectations. Even the infamous extended service agreement price I got from the dealer was in par with the best offers you can find online.

Easiest car buying experience ever! After searching the inventory of local dealerships, Acton Toyota had the model and color we were interested in. Juliana provided us with a quote within minutes of our online request, and we arranged for a test drive. She referred us to Anthony Clarke, who had the vehicle ready and waiting for us Saturday morning. While we took the car for a test drive, our trade in was being appraised. We got exactly what we had anticipated for trade-in value, and purchase price was not to be beat. Within a couple of hours all paperwork was completed, financing done, and we were able to drive home our new Rav4 the same day - and it was a Saturday! It was a pleasure dealing with Anthony - thank you!

I called around to every dealer in the area for a lease price for a prius package 6 black with a beige interior. At first their price was too high but when I asked them to come down below my lowest offer, they did. They even had the exact car I wanted. Chris Johnson was very helpfull and friendly.
The only thing that caught me by surprise was that the gap insurance was not included in the Quote. I did not know this until I was ready to sign. All my other leases from other manufacturers had the gap included in the quote. I had to make my decision on the spot which I did not like to do since it cost me $15 extra a month.I did buy it in the end. I just wish I was told this up front when I called initially. I don't like surprises when I am finished negotiating a price.

My Review of Acton Toyota Scion:
Two Extremes of Car Buying

I’d narrowed my new car search to two different Toyota models, thus it was necessary to do the test drive. Went to a local dealer, drove both and settled on one. So far so good, with a very helpful salesman. Then came the agony! I’d done my due research and had a bottom line price (with trade). Only now there was a new guy from the dealership to talk turkey, and his opening bargaining position was so far from my price that it was insulting. So I walked. I’d already invested three hours of my time and it was clear that it would take even longer to play the “good cop/bad cop” games that go on in dealer showrooms.

Then I went online and put in my specs on Edmunds to Acton Toyota (specifically, their internet site, ActonToyota.com). Within 25 minutes I had an email with a rational price on the new car, about $400 lower than I would have painfully tried to negotiate at the first dealer. No gimmicks, no ifs-ands-or-buts. Here’s the price, not including taxes of course, but including all the running, dealer prep charges, etc. Firm and fair, very fair. My contact was Juliana Chaves; I confirmed the price by phone and she even gave me some alternative prices. It was so easy, particularly compared to my earlier experience. Welcome to the twenty first century.

My purchase was at the end of the month and Juliana was very busy, but she was excellent at multi-tasking, available when I needed her for questions and arrangements. She handled the necessary paperwork smoothly, and I had my car delivered as promised, on my terms, with no surprises.

The internet is full of reviews, usually of first week experiences with new products; however this is not about the car, but the buying experience. I suppose it sounds trite in this day and age of superlatives, but this was the most pleasant buying experience I’ve ever had. Kudos to Juliana and ActonToyota.com.

Very pleasant experience. No hassle, no tension, no bogus back office discussion with imaginary sales manager. Price was competitive -- I had been used to trying to bring deal to zero margin for dealer through traditional bargaining process, but was happy to leave it at what I think was a moderate margin for the dealer in exchange for this much more pleasant experience. Also happy to see Acton Toyota start a loyalty program, as I have been buying at least five cars from these guys and have been servicing them there. Until now, had never received any kind of acknowledgement for that. Now remedied.

I recently bought a 2009 Toyota Corolla on ActonToyota.com. My sales person Bob Rabb contacted me and gave me a very honest quote. Car buying can be very stressful but Bob may the whole experience very easy and pleasant. It took me one visit and three hours (on a busy weekend)to find the right car and complete the paperwork process. I live in about 15 miles south of Acton, and Bob was so kind to give me a ride to the dealership on his way to work so I didn't have to bring a friend to drive the other car back. I am very happy with my car and my car buying experience, and I would recommend Acton to my friends.

I've been buying vehicles for almost 30 years and I've NEVER had an easier car buying experience than I had at Acton Toyota. I'd been researching the 2009 Corolla online and contacting dealers in the area to check prices. Two co-workers recommended I try Acton Toyota. When I contacted them via the internet I got prompt replies from Juliana. Her emails were full of information and actual price quotes. There was no high pressure to come to the dealership, but more of a casual "we're here when you're ready" approach. I made an appointment even though the color I wanted wasn't in stock. There was no long wait for Juliana and she quickly had a Corolla ready for me to test drive. When I returned, I was treated to a no pressure discussion of the car. I've never had any dealer automatically offer a price that was just over dealer cost. Every other dealer I've dealt with started at sticker price and made me work hard to get it lower. When you're dealing with Acton Toyota, gone are the days where they make you sit and wait to find out if your offer is accepted. Gone are the days of having your salesperson have to go back and forth to their "manager" for approval. Gone are the days of having the high pressure "closer" come in and pressure you to buy the vehicle that day or the price they negotiated won't be available the next day.
Within 5-10 minutes we had agreed on price (I'd done my homework ahead of time and knew their price was a great deal). My trade in was appraised while I was test driving so we worked out an agreement on trade in value rather quickly. Although they didn't have the color I wanted in stock, Juliana was able to get the car I wanted in the body style I wanted with every option I wanted within 2 days! When I went in to sign all the paperwork, the finance guy wasn't pushy about extra warranties or protection packages Toyota offered. He showed me all the options and we discussed the pro's and con's of each and he let ME decide what, if anything, I wanted. NO PRESSURE!
I'm now driving a beautiful new Corolla and I'm glad I went to Acton Toyota to get it. Thanks to my co-workers for recommending them, and a big THANK YOU to Juliana and the other staff in the internet sales office for the best car buying experience I've EVER had.

This dealership has steadily improved over the years, and has now arrived at a level of transparency and honest dealing which is truly remarkable. One needn't dread the car-buying process here. Mr. Rabb's low-key approach was a relief, and he spent a great deal of time with us explaining and demonstrating. Both our trade-in and purchase were handled smoothly and simply, without mysterious disappearances into a backroom, complaining about how low the final price was, or any of the usual shenanigans that other dealers still use. Customers are treated with fairness and respect.

I recently bought a Toyota Prius Touring Edition, a car that's
in pretty short supply. I wanted it with a specific set of options but was expecting I'd have to make tradeoffs to find anything close to what I wanted without waiting for months for it to become available. Anthony was very helpful about describing different options, letting me try them on multiple test drives, and searching incoming shipments to determine availability. At no time did I feel pressured to just accept what was in stock. Also, the price I was offered was quite good and didn't penalize me for making what amounted to a special order.

As it happened, the incoming car Anthony located for me matched
my wishlist in everything but color. I decided to accept it to
avoid a multiple-month wait. But in the end, Anthony was able
to match the color as well when another vehicle became available
just before I was to take delivery, So what could have been a
challenging needle-in-haystack search turned out happily in the
end, with a minimum of fuss and attitude.

I can't say enough good things about this dealership and it's employees. Buying my Tundra at Acton Toyota was by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. There were no games or confusing sales tactics and their inventory is incredible.

I live on Nantucket which makes new car buying a real hassle. Logistically, it can be a huge headache trying to get a new vehicle back to the island. However, Steve Augusta went above and beyond anything I would expect to make sure I had that truck back to Hyannis in time to get my scheduled ferry.

You can be like me and research every Toyota dealership in the northeast for three months or you can save yourself a lot of time and effort and just drive to Acton. You will get the car or truck you really want and you will be treated with a level of respect that I have not seen before at a car dealership.

I highly recommend dealing with the good folks at Internet Sales if you want a no-nonsense, no-pressure experience. The only reason I gave a 4 for price instead of a 5 is because I feel like I could have pushed harder and gotten a lower price elsewhere. However, because information was so freely-flowing, I felt like we both got a good deal. I particularly liked the fact that they didn't keep me waiting any longer than I needed to when I finally did show up to pay and pick up the car.

I had a great experience at Acton Toyota. I dealt with a member of the internet sales team, Wellington Pereira, who was professional, attentive, courteous and very accomodating. Also, the financing guy, Frank, was very professional and did not try to pressure me on extra warranties (I purchased a used minivan). Wellington and crew took very good care of me from beginning to end and I feel I got a good value on the minivan. I would recommend Acton Toyota to someone looking to purchase a car.

I don't think I can ever find the perfect words to say about my purchasing experience with Acton Toyota. All the people there are just so nice, and honest, and helpful, and understanding, and everything you will out in a car dealership. And when you combine the best price with the best honest customer services, the resolute is by far the best car buying time I have every had!!!!!

Comparing from my last Boch Toyota buying experience, it almost bring me to tears.

The last time, we went to Boch Toyota. At there, they have held our driver license and will not let us leave until we agree on a price with them. So many times we have said "please, let us think about it, we need to go" They just keep on pushing, and pushing. And after about 7 hours we did buy the car, at a price we thought was fair. Then after we got back, and read the sales papers, we found that they have added $500 to the purchase price without our knowledge (it just said Fee, not idea what fee that was) So, after all that time, and effort we still got cheated. Never again!!

This time, we have been looking for a truck for a while. And we have been putting it off because we really don't want to deal with another dealership for 7 hours. We did our homework online, find out what a good price is for the truck, and just started emailing, and calling different dealerships. I will not go down to the dealership unless I know I can get it for the price I want. Almost all the places I have contacted have asked me to come down, and work out a deal, and they all promise me they will give me the best price in town. ONLY Acton Toyota, gives me a honest price over the email. I was speechless.

Bob Rabb was the one who helped me. The price he has given me was right on target. I can say I probably will not find a better price anywhere. And the best part was, the whole purchasing process including the financing part, took us less than a hour. The only thing we have to spend time on was to pick out what kind of remote started to get. Everything was just so…. PAINLESS and EASY~ :)

Both Bob and Peter Rakauskas (financing) have explained everything to us, every number, every step.

I can't say enough good things about them. If you are looking for a Toyota, please give them a try. You will really love it. Now I just hope they will sell every brand of cars out there. So I don't ever have to deal with another dealership again. :)

Overall experience very good. We bought a Toyota Sienna AWD LE two weeks ago and are very happy with it so far.
I must say though that I did two weeks of intensive research on www.cars.com to find the correct vehicle, whether regular gas or hybrid, whether new or used etc. I finally settled on the Toyota Sienna because we had two factors we had to have, space and awd. The price was very competitive due to the transparency of the market because of the internet. I may have been able to get the price a little lower if I had walked away or spent more time with other dealerships but I believe we got a fair price.
This was established by asking for a quote through www.toyota.com. And Acton Toyota responded quickly where others did not. I had to ask twice though for a quote before I would visit the dealership. Initially I got emails back like "how can I be of assistance" but without a quote. Once i made clear I would not deal with them anymore unless they gave me their best quote first they responded with a detailed quote. The rest of the process was very easy and agreeable. If they had responded immediately with the quote per my www.toyota.com request I would have given them all 5's.
I can definitely recommend this dealership.

I wanted a Certified Used Toyota Tacoma and I found it online at Acton Toyota. Sometimes that is easy part as you have to go through tons of red-tape and sales pitch after sales-pitch filled with false-promises and you walk away feeling slimy and used. This IS NOT THE CASE at Acton Toyota. I looked around the lot without being harassed that is a new one. I got to initiate the whole process and it was friendly, quick, and no BS at all. I had to check to make sure I was at a dealership. This was my best ever experience (I've bought 4 new cars) but not like this.

I walked in knowing what I wanted after some significant "online" research. Jerry wasn't hitting me with the price-tag and sales stuff it was direct to let me grab the keys. After I saw my fill of the vehicle and was blown away it was very low-pressure negotiation in a friendly family atm
