My Review of Amarillo Hyundai:
I want to personally applaud Mike & Sales manager, Ralph, for their professionalism. My son & daughter-in-law and I were greeted without any pressure. We test drove the Sonata, Azera and the Genesis, each 25-30 miles. Mike went thru every feature on each car. The Sonata was not comfortable for me as I have back/hip issues. The Azera was much better, but then Mike & Ralph took the Genesis off the showroom floor so I could test drive the caar. Actually, all the employees were very kind, respectful, not only to myself and my family but to each other. Customer service to external & internal clients is something that I do take notice of as I too, am in customer service. When the time came to talk financing, I got nervous. I am a single woman and knew my budget limitations. Both Mike & Ralph worked with me to get to the number necessary to make a very large investment. I truly appreciate the time they invested with me to make certain I understood a lease program. I also want to mention that neither Mike or Ralph pressured me into purchasing the Genesis. It was all me....but they allowed me the space to think, contemplate and understand the available financing programs. This means so much to me and my family as I was literally scared to even go to a dealership due to being "single" and a "woman". The financing with Tri-State Ford was phenomomal! Al was very helpful, light-hearted, caring and understanding. Actually, it was the easiest finance process I have ever been through in purchasing a car! Again, I applaud Al for his professionalism!
My car was washed and ready to go when I completed the financing. Mike took the time to program my IPhone and show me additioanl features on the car as he knew I had to drive from Amarillo to Houston, which is a 10 hour drive, on Monday morning.
In closing, Mike followed up with me, thanking me for allowing Amarillo Hyundai to assist me in making my decision, which I am well pleased with. Mike emailed me on the day of my purchase, the day after and also on the Monday follwing, thanking me for allowing Amarillo Hyundai to build a cutomer relationship with me. Mike also took the time to call me on Tuesday to see if I made it home safely to Houston and inquired if the 10 hour drive was detrimental to my back/hip issues that I am experiencing. I told Mike that the 10 hour drive was very pleasant and like riding on a cloud! It didn't even feel like a 10 hour drive! Also Al, from Tri-State Ford, called me on Tuesday as he inadvertantly had me sign on the wrong line. Al informed me that he would send knew papers overnight and include an overnight return envelope for my convenience. Al was very receptive and accomodating in sending the Fed Ex to my office as I am at work more than at home!
All in all, my experience with Amarillo Hyundai was outstanding and I couldn't be happier with my decision to purchase my car at Amarillo Hyundai. I know I will be a return customer. And also, with my son and duaghter-in-law being a part of the transaction, I know they will be truthful in telling their friends and co-workers of the positive experience their Mother had at Amarillo Hyundai & Tri-State Ford.

My husband and I have bought several vehicles. But this experience was the best of all. We told them what we wanted and our price range. They found us true perfect car. They never pressured us but made the visit smooth. We will be happy to spread the word. Thanks Mike and Joe.

Kenneth was very friendly and eager to please. I had visited with him two or three times before actually buying the car. On each of those visits, he answered questions willingly and demonstrated features of the cars. After he had sold the care, he spent about two hours going over the features of the car. He was great!

I encountered friendly, concerned people. Willing to listen to my concerns. While making me feel like my buiness was important to them. My Review of Amarillo Hyundai:
I am a reader of "Car & Driver" and "Road & Track", plus others (Edmond's, etc.) for over 40 years. I have held an SCCA Racing License. I have owned an MG-A, Jaguar XKE 12 liter, Porsche 944, Toyota Supra, a Volvo P1800 and a Z350. I think I am qualified to answer this questionnaire.

What this means is that when I was ready for a new car my research and heart led me to a Hyundai Genesis Coupe.

I was fortunate to have Joe Miller at Hyundai of Amarillo be my "guide" and assistant. He spent untold hours working with the holders of the leases on my trade-in (Infinity 35 Coupe) and my wife's Mazda CX-7. There was no arm-twisting, no excuses (just results) and our new coupe and Santa Fe were placed in our hands at what we wanted to pay. I can only imagine what Joe had to go through to succeed.

We are both pleased with the vehicles, but without Mr. Miller none of this would have happened.
I will be more that happy to recommend Hyundai of Amarillo and Joe Miller to anyone. Already have, as a matter of fact.

We had a small problem but the Staff at Tri-State Hyundai made it right. We were/are very pleased with our purchase and for them to continue to make things right. Every one makes mistakes, but for them to make it right just proved the integrity of the dealership and overall satisfaction was tremendous.

My Review of Amarillo Hyundai:
This was my first experience with this dealership and there wasn't any part of the experience that results in anything other than great. Mr. Miller was friendly and appeared to be very knowledgeable and upfront in our discussions. All of the paperwork was completed promptly and even a small error was corrected very quickly.

As of today, there aren't any negatives to alter my experience or to steer anyone away from this dealership.

My Review of Amarillo Hyundai:
I purchased a 2008 kia sorento that had cigarette burns all over the car, the radio was making fuzzy noise and after I had signed papers the vehicle was brought to me after they had cleaned it up...When I looked at the vehicle originally it was very dirty so I couldn't see the paint....When the car was washed, there were scratches all over the car....The worst I have ever seen.....Looked like it was driven through the forest....They agreed to have someone come in and buff out the scratches.....When I went to pick up my car, there were still a lot of scratches on the car that they didn't fix...The salesperson told me they did the best they could but I didn't believe this......After I took the car, I noticed the outside mirrors wouldn't adjust properly and that the one mirror was loose....I went back to the dealership and they told me to take car to KIA dealership to get these things fixed by warranty...Well, none of these were covered by warranty because the previous owner had hit something with the mirror and wasn't covered, the radio was not the manufacturers radio and warranty wouldn't cover it and the KIA dealer wanted to charge me $500 to fix these items....They also told me that the brakes appear to be going out but this not covered by warranty....Just this week, the gear shift just fell apart and I almost couldn't get it back together to put the car in park.......I am very dissatisfied and feel that I really got a raw deal from this dealership....

My Review of Amarillo Hyundai:
We were on the way to Amarillo, and our Tuscon barely made it. We pulled in to the dealership for service. We have never had such a great experience with a service department. Oscar was exceptional, informanitive, friendly and went out of his way to help get our car fixed, within a 24 hr period, so we could get back on the road. We are from Missouri, and traveling. I would recommend them to anyone. We are even considering buying from them for our next vehicle even though we are 600 miles away. Thanks again Oscar.
