3 Service Visits in the First Month for brand new Jeep I bought a new Jeep Patriot on December 23, 2016. The two salespeople that we worked with were pretty good. But, once we finalized the price, my hus I bought a new Jeep Patriot on December 23, 2016. The two salespeople that we worked with were pretty good. But, once we finalized the price, my husband and I sat around for about an hour waiting for the only finance guy to become available. When he finally talked to us, the conversation lasted about 5 minutes. When driving my new Jeep home, I noticed that the heater was struck on Defrost mode. I immediately turned around and took it back to the dealer. They made arrangements for me to get it repaired after Christmas - and the salesman even came and got the Jeep to get it fixed. Except they didn't fix it correctly. So, about a week later I took the Jeep back to the dealership and sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half while they tried to figure out why no heat blew on my feet and I got defrost air on every setting. The service guy, Kevin, explained that the guy who "fixed" it the first time put in a directional part in the wrong direction. As a result they had to order a new part and I would have to make arrangements for the Jeep to be brought in a third time. After the part arrived, I waited a bit to see if the license plate (which I was told would arrive in 2-3 weeks) would come in so I could save a fourth trip across town. When the temperatures dropped below 0 and 3 weeks came and went, I scheduled a visit to get the heater fixed because I was tired of having to wear snow boots in my car. I dropped the vehicle off and got paperwork to get a loaner car. After she started helping me, the woman at the cashier's booth proceeded to take a phone call that lasted several minutes while I was standing there waiting. When she finally got around to helping again, I discovered that while I didn't have to pay for the loaner car, I did have to fill it with gas before I returned it - or faced a penalty fee of $6.00 per gallon of gas I used. Seriously. They screwed up the initial repair necessitating two additional repair visits and they are going to penalize me if I don't put a gallon of gas in the loaner vehicle. My brand new car has been in the shop three times because they made a mistake the first time. I have had to be out of work on three different occasions (hopefully this will be the last one). My Jeep is 28 days old. I love the Jeep, but the Dealership attitude has left a sour taste in my mouth. I will not purchase another vehicle at this dealership and will be getting any other warranty work done at a different one. More

Paul not only fixed my truck, but treated me with respect and went out of his way to listen to my frustrations, then actively sought to address them! Thank you, Paul, for your customer service!! I would not necessarily recommend certain members of their service department, but would HIGHLY recommend Paul!! More

On top of service, I believe they have a great product (for the Charger at least). It's been a great reliable vehicle with lots of room and awesome interior. We received a recall notice so we took our Jeep in, we also asked for oil change & tranny flush to be done. We were told it would be done same day, no call when done, when we call them later that day ever also asked for oil change & tranny flush to be done. Next morning we got a call, they don't have the part to fix recall (so it has to go back in) & other services requested were not done, so now we cant pick it up until later in the day...? We had coupons that were sent with the recall notice but were still charged about $12.00 extra for shop rags & ect. (that's what we were told) There was a bunch of finger pointing & wasn't me going on~~VERY unprofessional! We absolutely would NOT recommend this service dept. to anyone & hope to not have to go back after recall is fixed. The people working in customer service really need customer service training! "It wasn't me" is not an acceptable answer. More

Called Service Dept. regarding Recall N49 on January 21, 2014 to make an appointment. I was told "parts are not available, call back at the beginning of summer" !! This recall involves a potential failure 2014 to make an appointment. I was told "parts are not available, call back at the beginning of summer" !! This recall involves a potential failure of the tie rod end part of the steering linkage. This is supposed to be a reasonable time period ?? If one looks on the internet for 2011 Dodge 3500 tie rod end, there appear to be a plethora of tie rod ends (OEM) available. Are these recall notices just a CYA for the dealers/manufacturers and NHTSA ?? This is the second of two Dodge Ram trucks we own (the other is a 2006 Ram 1500), both of which have turned up with what I consider shoddy mechanical workmanship. Wish I had stuck with Ford.... More
