We came to Atlantic Honda in August 2017 on a whim after having had a not so great experience at another LI Honda dealership when trying to re-lease another Honda CRV EX model as our 2014 CRV Ex lease was coming to an end in September. Unfortunately, the other Honda dealership showed no flexibility in its pricing for helping us get into a 2017 Honda CRV EX and essentially priced us out of considering another Honda CRV, which had us considering doing business with Ford for a Ford Escape as well as a few other non-Honda dealerships. It wasn't until we spontaneously entered Atlantic Honda in August and connected with salesman Jimmy Galgano, who immediately gave us a warm welcome and demonstrated great attentiveness to our needs in terms of our budget. He worked diligently in working up the best numbers he could for getting us at a price point where my husband and I could reasonably afford getting into another Honda CRV EX lease - ironically doing more than the sales manager was willing to do at the original dealership where began our business three years ago. Once we reached a fair number we were comfortable with, Jimmy worked with Atlantic Honda's Dave Moore, who was equally attentive in understanding our budget needs and in wanting to earn our business. With Dave's help, Jimmy and Dave got our monthly lease rate and the amount of money down to a point that was more affordable and got it approved so we could get into 2017 Honda CRV EX. It is thanks to Jimmy’s and Dave’s help that we are now driving and enjoying our beautiful 2017 Honda CRV EX lease and that Honda regained our business, not to mention our confidence in its salespeople and their appreciation of returning customers. Had we not impulsively walked into Atlantic Honda that day and had the opportunity to meet with Jimmy and Dave we likely would have ended up brining our business elsewhere since the original dealership we started out with three years ago did nothing to work with us to maintain our business as a valued returning Honda customer and was very stringent in its bottom line numbers and options, making it impossible for us to even consider leasing a 2017 Honda CRV EX model. How or why Atlantic Honda was able to achieve what the original dealership we began with could not and why they showed more regard for us as valued returning customers than the original dealership we started with is something I cannot understand. I can only assume this is why Atlantic Honda has such a stellar reputation, which must stem from it having such wonderful professionals working in the best interest of Honda customers like Jimmy and Dave, who did not flinch or and complain when going the extra mile in trying to crunch numbers to work as hard as they could in getting us at a price point we could all agree upon for making what seemed the impossible happen. I hope whomever from Corporate Honda sees this commendation letter will share my positive experience and sentiments about Jimmy and Dave with Jimmy and Dave directly and that they both can be recognized accordingly as they each deserve to be applauded for the superior level of service they have provided from start to finish, which includes providing reassurance and peace of mind when needed, and always with a smile! Very Helpful I recently returned to the dealership to buy out my lease. I've leased 4 new hondas the past 12 years from them, but this one I'm buying out.
