Hello Mr. Berman, I'm sorry you recently had a negative experience with our service department. I have been the Audi General Sales Manager for 19 years and I do know who you are and both Mr. Rost and myself have always appreciated your business. I must however correct one of your statements. Most of my colleagues tenure in this store is measured in decades not years. Until recently we have had very little turnover which is reflected in all of the positive reviews posted on this as well as other sites. The one word which best describes how I was treated by Mohegan Lake motor is BETRAYED. I trusted them. They violated my trust. I showed respect for them by returning for vehicles in the past. They just took me for granted & never cared a whit about me. Since my last review, it is clear that the reality is even worse than I described earlier. After 1 month of receiving no reply at all to my compliant, I was forced to publish a negative review. Only then did I finally receive a response- from Mr. Chuck Reichl, the Sales Manager. I suggested we meet in person & asked to have the meeting attended also by the Service Manager, Scott Bender. Mr. Bender's performance today displayed malice, negligence, arrogance, & ignorance. He was hostile, belligerent, & insulting. Nothing but pure contempt from him. He claimed that once he found out that I had scheduled my service at a different dealership, there was nothing more for us to discuss. He seemed oblivious to the fact that I had pointed out the inappropriate behavior of the person who had hung up the phone on me mid-sentence & refused to schedule me for an appointment when I called on Sept. 21. He pointedly refused to address my complaint & seemed proud to tell me that. He made it abundantly clear that in his opinion it is perfectly fine for anyone in his department to be as rude as they feel like being, & refuse to serve anyone they don't want to, for any reason. Thus, they have essentially told me that they do not want my business. This is a poor reflection on the dealership. If they are unwilling or unable to deal with a simple complaint of rudeness by a staff member, imagine how negligent they would be if you actually had a problem with your car. If you want to be treated with respect, don't go there. Update on Nov. 11, 2020 The words of Mr. Reichl are insincere words from a most insincere person. When he held a "meeting with the Service Director," the Service Director Scott Bender adamantly refused to discuss my complaint, but he did insult my intelligence. So their idea of "communication" is to refuse to talk about the problem they have caused me. Mr. Reichl could have insisted that Mr. Bender at least try to act interested, but he made no attempt to do so. Mr. Reichl is the biggest phony I have ever met. He will sweet talk you, but after they've got your money they refuse to respond to your emails or phone calls, showing that they have no regard for the customer at all. As I said previously, if you want to be treated with respect, then go somewhere else, ANYWHERE ELSE. If you enjoy being treated with contempt, then Mohegan Lake Motors is the place to go.
