My Review Of Audi of Brookline:

4-30-13: Last week, I was traveling from Hartford, Connecticut to Brookline to visit friends. When re-starting my 2013 Audi A-8L after a brief stop on the Mass Pike at the Natick center, every “trouble light” activated and then remained lit together with numerous messages that most systems were not working properly (including no speedometer function) and to “Contact Dealer”. We “limped” into Audi of Brookline and were greeted in a most friendly manner. Audi of Brookline kept us fully informed on a timely basis of the status and eventually the determination by Audi of the problem that the main “Gateway” control module computer was malfunctioning (or non-functioning). Audi of Brookline then provided us with an Audi loaner (a 2013 Audi A-6 with only 750 miles on it) to enable us to return home to Connecticut that evening. After the computer module was replaced, Audi of Brookline then delivered my car back to me near my home (100 miles from Audi of Brookline). In addition to installation of the required parts, my car was returned to me in “look new” showroom condition.

My Review Of Audi of Brookline:

When I entered the dealership, I was greeted by Amie Lee who was extremely cordial and appeared genuinely happy to see my husband and me. As we spoke about the the type of car I wanted, I realized Amie was extremely knowledgeable about the Q5 and other audi's. During the process of buying the Q5, Amie kept inconstant communication with us. She would also explain thoroughly each detail regarding the car and the buying process.

I was immensely grateful to Amie and the dealership for the great price I received when buying my 2013 Q5.
I was impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the employees I came in contact with I.e. Business Manager and other sales reps.

However, Amie Lee was my sales rep and I am really happy that she was such a wonderful human being and for the first time ever I felt I could trust a sales person.
I will certainly recommend Audi of Brookline and Amie Lee to my friends.

I had an amazing experience at Audi of Brookline. The staff was extremely professional and educated. They helped me along my entire process and never forced me into a decision. My Review Of Audi of Brookline:

I stopped by Audi of Brooklyn Massachusetts dealership yesterday on my way to visit my wife at the Beth Israel Hospital.

I asked if anyone would help me to understand how to answer the phone in my 2013 Audi A5 Cabriolet and a salesperson quickly responded - Janet Petrillo.

She was eager to help and guided me through my phone angst as well as showing me other important features I had not utilized in my new automobile since my run-through with my local RI dealer/salesperson
a few short months ago.

My Review Of Audi of Brookline:

The so called "service" is not that at all. In fact, I am not sure the service has been done in each case, or at least not done well. The last time I visited was to check on my tires because it had been running terribly since I had taken it in for the routine maintenance - and the tires had been rotated at that time. Even though it had only been a few thousand miles since the tires had been rotated, I was then told there was nothing wrong with the car, but that the tires needed to be replaced. Seemed quite ridiculous to me, especially given that this same dealership said nothing just a couple months earlier, and the car only had just over 25K miles on it.

I took my car to another dealer and was told the tire treads were off, due to bad alignment - which had been performed by Audi of Brookline. In addition, over the next several weeks I discovered that most of my fluids were low since the so-called service was performed. I doubt it was ever done. The service staff were too busy making sure they replaced a part that was apparently recalled in cases where a customer complained about it, which I had not. But much to my surprise, when I picked up the car and received the statement of work, staffers at Audi of Brookline had LIED and said I complained that the oil light had been coming on. I won't do business with an unethical organization, and an organization that does shoddy work - my $40K+ car drives like a $15K car, thanks to the lack of skills, or lack of work, of the "service" staff at Audi of Brookline.

I now drive 20 miles out of my way to another dealership, even though this one is within walking distance of my office. If you are considering having your car serviced here, I hope my experience causes you to reconsider, or you too might be driving a warped tin can, instead of the smooth ride of the Audi you purchased.

On 7/31/12 you brought your 2011 A4 in for it's 15,000 mile service. We recommended a rotation and balance along with a four wheel alignment. When the vehicle was brought into the shop our technician noted that the minimum oil light was on. This was not stated by you, but by our technician. Our computer system automatically prints the words "customer states" at the beginning of each labor line. At that point David your service advisor did explain to you that there is a technical bulletin to update the engine breather and the ECM module. This is to ensure the engine runs more efficiently. We didn't hear back from you until five months and 6,000 miles later that the car is running "sluggish" and vehicle seems unbalanced. Our technician and shop foreman both drove the vehicle and found that the vehicle was performing to the manufacture's specifications. At this time David did tell you that when you come back for your 25,000 mile maintenance you may need to replace your tires because the tread was running low. You state in your email that another that another dealer informed you your treads were off due to a bad alignment. Treads can't be "off" but the steel belt can shift when treads are running low and the vehicle hits a pot hole. This would cause a vibration while driving. We also can provide you with a printout from out alignment machine that will prove your vehicle left here with a perfect alignment. We are sorry to hear that you believe we are being dishonest in our dealing with you. If there is anything we can do to turn this experience around for you we would be happy to discuss the situation with you.

My Review Of Audi of Brookline:

I wasn't even seriously considering getting an Audi before visiting this dealership and just decided to stop by because it was close to where I live, but eventually ended up getting a Q5. Matthew was very friendly and easy to work with - he was very attentive and answered all of my questions with his honest opinion. He's not there to just sell cars and make money; he really cares about his customers' best interests. Matthew did everything he could to find the car that perfectly matches my preferences. I had visited many other dealers in search of both new and used cars from various manufacturers - this dealership was by far the best! The location is very convenient too.

My Review Of Audi of Brookline:

I went in for service and asked my service rep Ken Meltzer if the timing was right to trade in my used 2007 Audi A7 and buy a new 2013 Audi A6. He walked me through the tow scenarios, and introduced me to Scott Allerheiligen who was very thorough and asked me enough questions to find out what I was really looking for. It so happened that the dealership had exactly the car I was looking for with all the options I wanted. Scott than fought to get me a great trade in price and a good discount on the new vehicle. He then teamed up with Business Manager Siobhan Hunter who walked me through all the nuances of the leasing deal and took care of every detail to make the process absolutely painless. It was a real treat to drive out of Brookline Audi with exactly the kind of car I wanted and with no operational headaches in paperwork, etc. I would recommend this team to any and all of my friends for their knowledge, empathy, diligence, and service acumen.
