I have been very happy with San Tan Honda. Everyone I have dealt with has been very helpful and polite. I took my 04 Honda Acccord in for service and Josh Tucker was my service technician. It was late on a Saturday and I was not expecting to have it completed until the following week. I was having transmissi was my service technician. It was late on a Saturday and I was not expecting to have it completed until the following week. I was having transmission issues and Josh recommended the service to trouble shoot it and to ensure it was nothing major. Unfortunately after the fluid was flushed the tranny kept having issues and it needed to be rebuilt. Josh worked with me to obtain the lowest estimate possible by taking time to work with his parts and service manager to reduce the costs as much as possible. Josh promised a deadline for the car to be completed and continually kept in touch with me to provide updates. After I paid the large invoice, Josh kept working with the warranty administrators and he was able to identify a large part of the work that could be covered under a warranty bulletin. His customer service was always evident and Josh went out of his way to make sure he had a satisfied customer. Thanks to Josh Tucker and thanks to San Tan Honda, my 04 Accord is again running like new. I will for sure keep San Tan Honda in mind when I decide to upgrade my 06 Odyssey. Regarding service, I am always treated as a valued customer, never have to wait for a service advisor due to the way they have the service area set, and they have the BEST waiting rooms of any dealership I have been in. They wash my car for free with any service, no matter how small and have a "pit stop" lane where they check the tires, fluids and battery anytime I want. More

My Wife brought her 2006 Accord in for an oil change. In the process, the Service tech. left the key in the "on" position, with the car sitting for 2 hours, thus draining the battery. THen, the Service tech tried to sell my Wife a new battery claiming the one in the car was defective, though it was only a few months old. The battery was tested at another location and found to be in good shape. Update 11-11-2010: After talking with the Service manager of the delaership, who is very apologetic, I was informed changes in procedure have been made assuring this wont happen again. My Wife and I have discussed this, and have decided to continue dealing with them for service. More
I bought my car from Honda of Mesa, which morphed into San Tan Honda. I have owned 5 Hondas. Up until the last couple of visits, I have been very happy with the service. The waiting area is comfortable, and they'll drive you home and back, or wherever. However, the last few visits seem to be an oil change and, oh by the way, you need this and that done. Next time, oil change, and you need these three other things done. And the prices quoted are not competitive. I feel the dealership is resting on its laurels and wants to make more money out of me with service, rather than have my continuing loyalty. I know from personal experience that Hondas go a long time without major service needs, so I'm quite frustrated with San Tan's gambit. I'm starting to look and ask around for an independent shop, since, for instance, paying $400 for a simple brake job is excessive, especially in these economic times. Nice people, good work, but tread carefully when making decisions. More
