Arrived at 8:00 am for my appointment to have the annual BMW recommended service performed. The dealership is a 30 minute drive from my home. I left the car at the dealership.I was called at approximately BMW recommended service performed. The dealership is a 30 minute drive from my home. I left the car at the dealership.I was called at approximately 11:00 to inform me that the rear brakes needed to be replaced. I approved the repair. I was called at approximately 2:00 and told the work had been completed. My car was parked ouside the service entrance when I arrived back at the dealership at 4:30. The original service advisor was not there due to a family emergency. For 20 minutes two of the other advisors looked for but could not locate the paperwork. It was determined that the technician had not closed out the repair order, A discussion with the technician revealed that the brake parts were not in the dealership inventory as originally thought and had to be ordered. I now have to make arrangements to return my car to the dealership when the parts arrive. While everyone in the service area was very nice and did their best to be helpful the overall experience was not as I would have expected. More

Visited BMW of Columbia for a couple of service/replacement requirements. Even though having this sort of car is always expensive, Mark in the service department makes the whole ordeal plea service/replacement requirements. Even though having this sort of car is always expensive, Mark in the service department makes the whole ordeal pleasant. He is always friendly and communicated on a regular basis on the status of my vehicle. Going into it with upfront pricing helps elevate sticker shock and because of the service I received from Mark I will continue to have my vehicle service at this dealership. More
