I already reported Nicolas' lie that "two of your front tires are 7 years old and will not pass a State inspection and the right rear has two little tread left. So we have to replace three tires but we hav tires are 7 years old and will not pass a State inspection and the right rear has two little tread left. So we have to replace three tires but we have a buy three get two free special for $1620" turns out age of a tire has nothing to do with a state inspection. So I replaced the rear tire for $485 at Discount Tire and passed the inspection. So, I also wanted my remote key FOB to work and what did ol' Nick say? "we have to replace the rear view mirror for $1500" I declined go online and find two BMW OEM parts dealers selling BMW Part# 51169174308 for under $600! and guess what? a you tube video replaces it in less that 10 min https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axKdCoZ5oQI GOOD TRY NICK. Stay away from this dealer at all costs. More

Service guy Nicholas outright lied to me. I knew at least one tire had tread below the minimum and I would need to replace to pass an inspection. One rear tire was purchased about two months I knew at least one tire had tread below the minimum and I would need to replace to pass an inspection. One rear tire was purchased about two months ago. He insisted I needed four new tires and that even though one tire was new they had a special buy three tires and get the 4th free for only $1,619! So I looked closer on the report and it said the front tire treads were 5/32" which was well above the minimum of 2/32" and via text asked why they had to be replaced. He said they were manufactured 7 years ago and would not pass. Texas code says a tire does not pass if the tread is lower than the minimum and/or the tires have exposed ply or belt material. There is no age limit in the code (CVE Sec. 393.75). I replaced the rear tire and I just returned from a state inspection facility.vehicle passed and I have the paperwork.
