I visited several BMW dealers in the Baltimore-Washington area for about 9 months before I visited Tischer. My experiences were from bad to worse, including being scolded at by one sales manager at a dealer area for about 9 months before I visited Tischer. My experiences were from bad to worse, including being scolded at by one sales manager at a dealer in the Balimore area for the kind of car I drove (it was very old and basic). He also told me that I didn't need an all wheel drive car (which I wanted) because Maryland doesn't have bad winters. My experience at Tischer, however, was terrific. They had several new and pre-owned cars to choose from and their customer service is the very best, from the person greeting you upon entering Tischer to all of the managers and staff. Manny El Baltimy, the sales manager I worked with, is professional, courteous, patient and collegial. He is truly wonderful to work with. There was no pressure whatsoever, no looking at my previous car with dread. Manny answered all of my questions and understood that I needed a day to think things over. I came back the next day and purchased my pre-owned certified 530xi. It looks brand new. Tischer also gave me the best price of any of the dealers I previously visited. I would urge anyone interested in buying a BMW to save yourself some time, go directly to Tischer, and work with Manny El Baltimy. Price(best in the area) got me into the door, but the experience thereafter was even of greater benefit. That experience extended through the entire Tischer staff, from the receptionist all the way through the to the Sales MGR.; from phone calls, to last minute changes, to the point of keys in hand, to follow-up calls after taking possession of my new BMW. I had been searching the internet looking for a good used car that was priced right. I found one that seemed to fit the bill in all ways. We had a good conversation concerning the car that I was interested in purchasing. When I meet Kevin in person, we hit it off from the very start. After a very extensive test drive, we set in the car and Kevin went over the features of this car with me. He was very professional and extended to me his patience and knowledge of the car. Since he and I are both "car guys," he was the perfect salesman for me. We could have probably talked for many more hours about cars. I was impressed with Joanna McCarthy of the Finance Department for her friendliness and knowledge of the paperwork. She made everything easy. I also have to mention that the service department worked late did an excellent job in preparing this car. To sum it up, I would highly recommend both Kevin Hemmis and Tischer BMW to anyone and everyone. More

I have purchased new, as well as certified luxury-line automobiles for the last 20 years. Although, I have never owned a BMW, the service level I received as I was guided through the process was, and rem automobiles for the last 20 years. Although, I have never owned a BMW, the service level I received as I was guided through the process was, and remains as much a part of the total ownership experience as I had ever imagined. From the moment I walked in the door of this dealership, marred with the look of blue collar sweat, I was treated as a royal component of a larger family. After nearly a year, It is my experience that each time I visit the dealership my family and I are always remember by name, and always treated with the respect of royalty. When we walked into the dealership, it is as if we walked into a separate world altogether. This dealership operated like a car purchasing center for the celebrity rich and famous. The staff-members are tempered, focused and attentive, not overbearing and over-aggressive. The names of my family-members are remembered, our last dealership experience is remembered, many of the people have taken a special interest in my young 9 year old son; he loves to visit the dealership (go figure), and even when I or my wife arrive unannounced, Rick Lopez, and the BMW Service Manager Joe Diss ensures that we are seen and serviced with purpose driven speed. I count the decision to purchase from this specific dealership as one of the best overall "pound for pound" decisions I have made. When the time comes again for me to purchase a new car, or when someone I know is looking to purchase, Tishcher is where I will go; equally as important, I will be purchasing from Rick Lopez. Rick and Joe have made my future purchasing decisions more about the long-term ownership benefits of service than the short-term excitement of the initial buy. I recently purchased a Certified Pre Owned (CPO) 330i from Tischer. I found a car I was interested in on their website, and emailed them. Kevin responded, and we took it from there. I spent a lot of time with him and visited several times before deciding. Kevin did a great job of explaining everything. He was completely no pressure -- he made it clear that he wanted to earn my business, but never pressured me to make any decisions. Instead, he encouraged me to take my time. When I decided to buy, he stayed very late to assist with the deal. Tischer puts together an "autobiography" of their CPO cars that contains all of the service records, Car Fax report, etc., which I found very helpful. Tischer lists an "internet" price for their CPO vehicles. I looked at several of their CPO cars, and they were all priced below what kbb and edmunds list as values for these vehicles. I got a discount off the price, but the asking price seems fair on these vehicles. I haven't yest used Tischer's service department, so I can't comment on that, but the buying experience was the best I've had at any car dealer. More
